Hidden Valley RV Park, Von Ormy, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

We are PPA full time RV'ers. We were here to tour the sights of San Antonio. This park was very handy to San Antonio and access was easy. The entrance to the park is a rough long road, but the owner is very friendly and helpful. Sites are big and easy to maneuver. We will stop here again. We camped at Hidden Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are adequate altho the park has a big problem with burrs. Change of ownership is causing lack of activities. Easy access to shopping and Mexico. Charge for power is .19 per kh. We camped at Seven Oaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Black Bear Campground, Florida, New York

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We were there late in the season, and the pool was closed. Wooded area has not been cleaned and it was very buggy and quite rugged. Internet signal was low, not good for Skype or VOIP. NYC tour was awesome and only reason to camp there. We camped at Black Bear Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We came here the beginning of Sept. and intended to stay a week. We have ended up staying 3 weeks! The owners have been very accommodating, the laundry was large, good internet and satellite. The view spectacular and close to Halifax and Peggys Cove and Lunenburg. We would be back here in a heart beat Excellant! We camped at Wayside Campground in a Motorhome.
