Messy, older KOA. Lots of permanent residents. When I pulled in to my designated spot my neighbor (who smoked right under our window) complained that I was blocking his satellite dish. Nothing I could do about that, wasn't about to move. No where to go. Spots are tight, barely had room for my 38' rig and tow car. Groundkeeper made me pull forward after my jacks were down to make more room behind us - was not necessary, but I did not make a fuss. One reviewer mentioned the possibility of a mess in the rain. That is now confirmed. Stepped in a mud pit on the way to disconnect. To top it all off you have to drive through an unsavory neighborhood to get to the park. Perhaps it is better in the sunshine, with a smaller rig, after a shorter drive.

This is a very neat and clean park. It is close to the world's largest casino, which we visited. It is immense, and fun to see. The only issue I had with the park was that we drove a very short distance to get here, and we could not get an early check-in. Kinda drove me crazy because there were plenty of empty spots. When I returned in the afternoon I was informed that there were only back-ins available. I gave the lady a look, then she remembered that I had been there earlier and voila, a pull through materialized. I think they try to leave as many spots open as they can and have back to backs that double for pull through sites and she didn't want to give it up. Even though there were plenty open overnight. Anyhow, the first night is free if you get a players card and they honor it even if you are staying only one night! Not bad. We did that and then stayed one more day anyway... Had fun. Golf course next door - pretty pricey but pretty.

Yes, this is a really nice place with the exception of the trains. It's always the trains...Other than that this place has everything: wide long pull-through spots, grass, nice folks running the place, casino next door with shuttle service. Very nice.

Well, this ex KOA still has KOA prices. The roads are a bit tight, but navigable. The cable is not provided for overnighters as it is too much trouble to set up a comcast box for each rig. (really?) Over the air is spotty, but we didn't need it. Owner tries to be friendly.... problem was he charged me $35 for a non sewer spot - then put me in a sewer spot - then came knocking on the door when he realized his mistake and wanted his extra $10 or to help us move to the site he intended. I paid the 10 as I was all set up after a long day driving. He should not have even asked. We won't be back.

Good overnight visit - quiet park despite the proximity to the freeway. Easy in and out. It had good wifi and cable.

A very nice place to stay! Narrow road leading to Riverview Campground from which you cannot view the river. It is close-by though. In an old pecan orchard so you can pick up nuts. Fair wifi, good cable and nice folks. It is extremely quiet - no freeway, no trains, no kidding. Good place from which to visit Waco.

Have stayed here many times when it was a KOA and the improvements with the new owners are many. The Wifi worked better, the place is cleaner, it has a new coat of paint, the "miniature golf" fake plywood course is gone. Best of all, there is no longer a cat in the front office... Good overnight stay as always.

Normally we stay at the Destiny resort next door, but thought we would give this place a try. It's ok for the night or two, but it lacks personality. All flat and rock and concrete and asphalt. Not much in the way of trees. Wi-fi costs extra. The spots are plenty big enough for our 38' rig plus full sized pickup. Very clean. It has a 4 hole golf "course" (par 3) that was closed during our stay. Like I said - ok, but I think we'll go back to Destiny next time.

What a junk yard! We have stayed at the state park here and at another CG in the past, but could not get in. Had to stay somewhere for 2 nights so this was it. Never again. Though the staff were friendly, the park is a dust bowl and is full of permanent or semi-permanent construction workers. Nothing wrong with that if it is neat, but this place is crowded, we were packed in like sardines. Can't open windows due to campfires and smokers right under the window. For the price - not at all worth it.

Spots are close together but the place is clean and neat. There is no cable, despite the listing here on rvparkreviews. WiFi is fair but speed limited.

We have stayed at this park several times in the past. After our first stay in 2010, shortly after it opened, I posted a review that was not favorable. The pull-through spots were too narrow and you had to step in mud to navigate around the site. That problem has been fixed and the spots have been widened. The Wi-Fi was horrible, but we gave the park one more try several years ago because the place is close to family in Stockton. The Wi-Fi was acceptable then and the spots were wider so we were happy with our stay. We are back again in 2015 and they have "upgraded" their Wi-Fi. It does not work at all now. I am sitting in their lounge to write this. Very frustrating. Especially since we are shopping for real estate while here. The office staff were friendly, but not helpful when informed of the problem. If you need Internet - get a spot near the office at the front. There also seems to be a lack of maintenance of the grounds. Weeds are all over coming up through cracks. All in all a very disappointing stay.

A very quiet park with a short walk to two casinos. Great buffet at Hollywood Casino. Golf course next door was superb, but you have to ride; no walking for some reason. Check-in was at the hotel - Check-in first then set up, not the reverse like we did. A good place for some fun!

I guess it depends on what you are looking for. The place is big and has been here for years and it's a KOA if you know what I mean. Lots for kids like a lake and fishing and paddle boats and mini golf etc. There are two pools and trees cover the park. It is loud. You are basically camped on the I-10 and hear it all night. WiFi was iffy but the cable was good.

Ok - we just got here today and already it's a 10. Don't worry about the roads, they've all been re-paved. The sites are all pretty level and nicely separated with flowers as well as grade separation. The cable is great and the wifi is superb! The location is quiet and peaceful and the staff are wonderful. Lots of trees, a real country feel but you are around the corner from a huge mall and a Cracker Barrel and fuel and of course close to the King's birthplace. Thankuvermuch.

Ok, here's the deal. They say in the books and their ads that they have cable and wifi. They have neither. They don't really care if they do or not. The pavement is broken and the spots are side by side and not all that roomy. The covers were falling off of the electrical boxes. You have school buses pulling in at 6 AM to pick up the kids that live in the mobile homes. They don't take cash - the reason given is that they don't want cash in the office because they are so close to Jackson. Don't know how Jackson feels about it, but it didn't make us feel real secure. If it's the only place to stay due to distance traveled then you are ok for a night (I guess). We won't be back.
