Foot of the Rockies RV & Storage, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were good sized. Park very convenient to Colorado Springs activities, yet you didn't feel like you were camping in the middle of a city. Great views, quiet, clean and well kept up. Manager was extremely helpful and looked out for our interests, making sure we would have a site where we felt comfortable (we have a 45' motorhome with a motorcycle lift on the back) Would definitely stay here again. If you want to be in the heart of the city, this is the place to stay. We camped at Foot of the Rockies RV & Storage in a Motorhome.

Goldfield RV Park, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were extremely small. Our slideouts were only inches for our neighbors. We dould not open our awnings. There is no room to sit outside. It felt like we were camping in a parking lot. If the rigs on either side of us had not left, we would have been unable to get our motorhome off our site. It may be better for small RVs, but definitely not the place for large ones. We camped at Goldfield RV Park in a Motorhome.
