Fredericksburg RV Park, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Park has nice people in the office. The lady was just the best. We use PA, but it was the wrong time of season for this park, so we used a Good Sam rate. The sites are great, well kept. The park looks like a resort. It has a nice little pond with koi fish; a great pet area and some long term people. No run down rigs, nice well kept units. A quiet place, just a great place to stay. We would stay longer but did all the tours of this lovely town, and need to travel down the road. If you are in the area stop by, you won't regret it. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tye RV Park, Tye, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Passport rate, quick check in. Had a nice site. Seems many extended stay people, which is fine. Was quiet, even the early birds leaving for work were no bother. We just needed an over night spot as the wind was to much for the road. I think they have cable TV? No WiFi was the only bad thing I could find. Was good for a short stay. We camped at Tye RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cactus RV Park, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

The park owners are real nice people. I pulled in during the wind, they met us at our rig, told us to follow them to the site and after hookup come in and register which we did. This basic, older park is good for a stop over. The sites were level, all I did was drop stabilizers, plug in, put water in, and was good to go. This was a quiet park. The owners make it nice and friendly. We camped at Cactus RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park), Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Love this place. We just got out of a 6 month stay in Santa Fe at another park which we worked at. Had friends at the Ranch and we fell in love with it. Has nice people, escort to site and the 2 ladies, one was the owner, backed me in on the blind side. Her directions was perfect the first time. The older buildings were a step back from the 50s and 60s and very well kept up. The showers were great. We travel with a vintage airstream and love these very well kept vintage parks. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tiger Oaks RV Park, Gibson, Louisiana

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Great Place to stay, close to Plantations, swamp tours, wildlife park, about an hour half from N.O. and French Quarter - the Gulf access 2 miles away. The owner is wonderful and manger is great. Fire pits at every site plenty of ducks and geese in small lake bayou black. Channel right across street, boat parking on site, monthly rates, weekly and best campground in area. We went to all of them before finding this place. Only issue is Aug and Sept has lots of heat and mosquito's. We camped at Tiger Oaks RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
