Chateau Shasta Mobile Home & RV Park, Mount Shasta, California

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice little park close to I5. We stayed for 5 days in site A. Nice view across road of mountains. Quite pastoral. Not much noise from I5 down at the lower level of the park. Manager very nice and helpful. We had Full hookups with 50 amp and cable. Also wifi which got a little spotty at prime times. Would stay here again when passing through Mount Shasta. We camped at Chateau Shasta Mobile Home & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Green Acres RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Really nice park. Hardly any road noise. The train line is far enough away to not cause problems either. The sites are quite wide and have grass strips in between. The concrete pads are nice and level. No bathroom facilities. Clean laundry room. The pool was closed till summer but I bet it will be kept up well. Neat as a pin. Will certainly stay here again. We camped at Green Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Palms RV Resort, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Snow birds have all gone. The park is almost empty and there are no activities. The pools are open and you can play tennis or shuffleboard. Library and card room are open and very nicely equipped. You are allowed to wash your rig on Tuesdays or have it done by a service. I really appreciate being ably to wash my rig on site and that is one reason I gave it a 10 rating. Even if the resort was full, I think it would seem fairly roomy as it is well laid out and the sites are not too crammed in together. No shade but that's OK. After our last stop in New Mexico, we are still trying to get the leaf debris out of the nooks and crannies due to a shedding tree. (Will be here two weeks as our fridge conked out, getting it fixed, also some dental work in Los Algodones). At the moment they have a weekly special of $100 for 7 days, which is a great deal. We camped at The Palms RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very helpful staff. Decent size gravel sites and paved roads. No frills but good for price. Lot of road works going on outside park but not too noisy. We camped at High Desert RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sand Hollow State Park, Hurricane, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Saw the posting for #23 and we got this one for the next two days. A really excellent place; the views are great from all sides. It is very hot at the moment so the 50amp is very welcome as I can run the air and catch up on the washing. A much better deal than the private campgrounds. All the sites are spacious and have covered tables, grill and fire pit. Also all the campground is fully paved! We camped at Sand Hollow State Park in a Motorhome.

Meteor Crater RV Park, Winslow, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We got 10% discount with a Good Sam card, ended up with tax $25.88. We got here this afternoon, it seems nicely laid out. Checkout is not till 1pm so it makes it convenient for a morning trip to the Meteor Crater. We got a coupon for a $2 discount off each Meteor ticket from the front desk. It is very handy to Interstate 40 but there is not too much traffic noise. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.
