There was lots of activity going on in the area because of all the oil wells, but we got a site even though we had not made reservations. The water is available close to your site, but you might share it with someone else. We filled our tank instead. The Wi-Fi worked great. The back-in site we were in was large and we had no problem backing in with our 40 ft rig and truck. Nice and quiet.

Date of Stay:

Nice large back in sites on gravel pads. There are fire pits, and wood is available for a price. The campground is located far enough from I-10 so no road noise is heard from it. There is a local paved road next to the campground, but it is quiet at night. Laundry is $1.50 wash and dry. There are a few long term residents. Wi-Fi is available for a cost-$4.99 per day or $15 per week. Wi-Fi is available for free at the tourist info place on the I-10 exit about 3/4 mile away. The office is closed on Monday's, but when we phoned for a site it was arranged for someone to meet us and guide us to our site.

Basically a gravel parking lot with full services. Wifi and cable worked good. Sites are close together. Good for an overnight stay. Easy access to I-40

Nice RV park. Very quiet during the night. WIFI and cable included and worked very well. $5 fee to use Casino indoor pool. Entrance is on Slim Lemoine Rd south of casino.

This park is convenient to the French Quarter and to other New Orleans tourist areas. The sites are close together. We were two campers traveling together and the owners left a site between us so we would have a meeting space. The pool is not heated and is cold. The hot tub was hot and clean. Laundry is $1.50 wash and dry. Wi-Fi and cable are included in the prices and both work good. There is noise from the train yard and from the street, but it can be ignored. Price is weekly rate. Daily Good Sam rate is $35.

Rate reflects senior winter rate. Regular rate is $20 plus tax. The roads and sites are paved with large trees in the campground. Laundry is $1 for washer and $1 for dryer. Trains and planes can be heard during the day, but the nights are very quiet. Camp host and staff are very friendly and helpful and were around lots during the day. If coming on W Mitchell Rd, there are houses which have bars on the doors and windows and garbage along the side of the road. It was close to Graceland and Beale street and most museums. We saw 1 stray cat and two deer. We felt safe in this park and would stay again.

Rate reflects senior rate. We drove in east on Lakeland Drive and turned south on Lakeland Terrace. The booth was unmanned and instructions were not very clear for the campground. We drove about 1 mile on the gravel road to the campground and found a site that was not being used. We phoned the campground phone # which we got from another camper and booked and paid over the phone. Site #17 was long enough for our 30 ft RV and truck without unhooking. We were backed up onto the lake where you could fish. It was nice and quiet during the night. We did not see a campground host. We would stay again if in the area.

Nice scenery. Great host, very friendly. Just off highway, but very quiet. WIFI slow at times. DVD/s and books available to borrow. Rate reflects Good Sam rate plus taxes. Would stay here again.

This park is located just off the I-70 with only a row of trees blocking your view of the interstate. Road noise was noticeable during the day, but it went down at night so we could sleep. Campground hosts were friendly and helpful. We came in after dark, but had no problems finding the campground or our campsite. Sites are fairly level. Wi-Fi works good, but we were parked behind the office. Some seasonal campers.

The sites are very tight together. There is no space to sit outside your unit. Most sites have no tables. The park is right next to the highway with road noise very early in the morning. The garbage truck came just after 8 am and some workers came back to their site around 3 am. The sites are level and we didn't have to unhook. The Wi-Fi worked great and the laundry was good and reasonable. The host were friendly and the park is nice and clean. The rate reflects the $5 Good Sam coupon. I would have rated this park higher if it wasn't for the road noise. The sites at the back of the park are probably not as noisy.

This is a great park to stay if you are interested in crabbing or fishing. You can walk to the docks to crab or book a fishing charter within walking distance. The 30 ft back in sites are very close to your neighbor. Next time we would get a pull through or a 40 ft back in. Laundry is available for $1.25 for a wash and approx $1.oo for dry. Rate is $115 for a week. Since you are on the shore, there is a lot of fog, but we did see the sun. Wi-Fi is available at $7.50/day. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

This is an okay park for an overnight, but I wouldn't want to stay here for long. The park host was very pleasant and helpful. The Wi-Fi worked great. There are no picnic tables and if all sites are taken, you have about 6 feet between your door and the other camper's slide out. We had to share the connections with the camper next to us. He had used the 30 amp, so we ended up with 20, as we didn't have a converter for the 50 amp. We were backed up to a 10ft hill, with no view except people walking there dogs on the top of the bank. It was quiet during the night, but the traffic through the park started around 6:30 am. While we were here there was a construction crew staying at the end of the park, which started moving early (6:30). We would probably not stay here again, even though the price was okay.

Very nice clean park with excellent security. The spaces were nice and wide. We had a space that was backed up along the fence that had a view of San Diego lit up at night. The noise from the road was next to nothing. This was a good starting point for discovering San Diego and Coronado. Friendly, helpful staff. Rate reflects staying for 4 nights for the price of three. For the price we think the Wi-Fi should have been included.

The sites given to over nighters are basically a gravel parking lot. There are full hookups, which is better than staying across the street in the casino parking lot (which lots of RV's did). The temperature was very hot during the day, so the A/C was appreciated. The noise from the street was not noticeable, especially with our fan going all night. It's convenient for walking to the casinos and the river walk. Wi-Fi is available but the service is not very good. We would stay here again.

Sites were very nice and large and level, located under large redwoods, with fire rings and tables. The park was closing some sites for the winter, but had lots of sites available. Very easy to park. Next to 101, but we hardly heard the traffic during the night. Close to redwood scenic drives and also close to ocean where we saw whales off shore.
