Lansing Cottonwood Campground, Lansing, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a rural style park in an urban setting. Lots of trees, lots of grass and ponds.

It was rainy when we were there but not necessarily muddy or inconvenient.

Things seemed reasonably clean. This is a no frills park other than what appears to be a nice pool that was being prepared for the season.

Yes, we would stay again if visiting Lansing. We camped at Lansing Cottonwood Campground in a Truck Camper.

This is a great park. Nice grounds, nice restrooms, nice sites. This is about as good as it gets with a gov't campground. We camped at Littcarr Campground - COE in a Truck Camper.

First Landing State Park, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Its on the beach, but to access the beach you must go to a boardwalk of which there are several. For the most part the ocean is blocked by the dunes which you are prohibited from walking on. We camped at First Landing State Park in a Truck Camper.

Glenwood Canyon Resort, Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

We were at the park in the middle of winter and needed electricity just to be on the safe side. It was cold and snowy and their electricity worked. The bathrooms were closed and did not use the dump station. Staff was okay, nothing good or bad. Not a good value to say the least. It is expensive for what you get. There were no other parks actually open in the area. We probably would not stay again. If we had tested out our rig for a few days before to make sure the electrical system was working correctly, then we just do not need $68 for electricity. We camped at Glenwood Canyon Resort in a Truck Camper.

Greenbriar Golf Club and RV Park (Closed), Brooklyn, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has a very nice park like setting with plenty of shade. Unfortunately it does have old shower stalls. They were clean such as they were, but they are not in good condition. The pool looked great. The end of the week the rate when up because of a race at Michigan International Speedway. The staff was helpful and good to work with. We stayed here 7 nights and would stay here again. Its given an average rating because of the condition of the shower stalls. We camped at Greenbriar Golf Club and RV Park (Closed) in a Travel Trailer.

Sundermeier RV Park, Saint Charles, Missouri

Date of Stay: March, 2005 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park has good pads and lawn space between trailer. Its priced too high. Its just a spot in an industrial type area. Nothing special. The staff seemed kind of grumpy, not friendly. We stayed one night and moved. If we were visiting some place very close then we might stay, but my suggestion is to look elsewhere. We camped at Sundermeier RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
