Really nice park that we have stayed at several times. The employees have always been great. Not "government type" workers but folks who are proud of their park. If it were not for the hwy noise, no cable and the fear of you RV'ers that only stay in 9 or 10's crowding us out we would rate it higher. If you are coming from Wenatchee on hwy 2 the enterence is from a really short left turn lane.

This park is a pleasure. The manager seemed to be continually working to keep this grass covered park in top shape. There is a free dump at the park. The manager even offered us the key if we wanted to use the dump before our very early departure on Sunday morning. Kaslo is a charming little town close to Ainsworth Hot Springs. Our space was an easy in and out for our 50' long truck and travel trailer. The park is bordered by the lake and a nice city park. We stayed two extra days and will choose it again. The management and camp cleanliness both rate a 10.

The other reviews must be for a different camp. Murphy's is located about a mile south of the turnoff to Nakusp Hot Springs Turnoff. We had a huge shaded space with cable TV, fire pit, table, our own trash and recycle cans and a fuel station with propane, morning coffee, and even a clean laundry across the road. Even though we choose a site close to the hwy, there was little noise. We are on the BC hot springs circle route. Nakusp hot springs and this camp rank our favorite so far. The wonderful hot springs and the Owner's Irish charm far and away made up for the fact that Murphy's has no restroom facilities. Plan to stay longer than you think you will. We did.

Great stop over for the Lehman cave. Nice arcade for the kid in all of us. Casino, store, and a really good reasonably priced full service restaurant rates this at least a 7 or 8. The cheap daily rate and the friendly staff bump it up to at least a 9.

Large long pull throughs. Good food, friendly, and great stop over. We use it when ever we are in the area. I have never been disappointed. It's proximity to the Oregon State surplus auction facility does not hurt!

I guess I liked this park better before it was redone. They removed the trees, grass, and camp feel and replaced it with asphalt and locked the dump station after 10 PM until 9 AM. Not much to steal. The lodge is still great. $25 seems high to travel so far off the freeway to park in a lot.

Nice staff and sites but 40/nite is steep for electric only. Good Wi-Fi although the campground guidelines warned us against over using it. Most of the low score comes from the attitude shown on the guidelnes given at time of induction. "Violations of any of the guidelines may result in expulsion with no refund. Please advise the office of any infractions so that they may be addressed" yep in the Guidelines! I have never been ask to inform on my fellow camper before. As I said the staff did not represent this attitude. I think Col Klink may have had something to do with the guidlines.

Best ATV oriented park ever! Ride 50 miles over 5400' mountain out the back gate. At six am coffee find what group ride is leaving each morning. These rides are put on by park residence. Price based on monthly rate with an allowance for electric. This does not include the $10,000 we spent on the used side by side ATV we bought during our first week. Staff and residence very friendly. Everyone waves and is very helpful. We are staying an extra month. The 55 plus folks at this park will take you on some wild ATV rides. A free workshop, pressure washer and desert golf course add to a great time.

No, this RV facility is not a 10 but the hot springs pond that is free 24 hours a day, the friendly staff, the clean facility, easy level pull through spaces and the PA rate of $12 makes this place an eleven. I drove an extra 100 miles to send my birthday here. We stay here on our way south and back when ever possible.

We pulled in late and left early. The operator gave us the PA rate on the week end because they were slow. Nice roomy park with shaded large, pull through spaces. Easy in and out in the dark. Nice club house with coffee. Very friendly staff on the phone. In this area and for this park this is a real deal.

I just spent 2 months at this RV park. Great staff and park. I can't seem to think of any reason to even rate it at a nine! I especially liked the room service style LP tank fill. Just set it out side and it get's picked up, filled, put on your bill and returned. Just think two months without the cable TV or WiFi acting up. I will be back. The fact that I have two grand children in Montrose Colorado may also influence my travel plans back to this area.

Yes this is a humble park. It has what you need for a overnight and is an easy back in off a little used road for my limited ability and 29' 5th wheel. The profit from our $20 donation to the small Baptist church that runs the park goes to improve the town. This park, the cafe and the people make Austin a favorite stop over for me and my dog.

If I was paying full price I would rate this park an 8. At passport prices it s a steal and the kind of immaculate park I look for and rarely find in my Passport book.

Small RV park with shade, stream, friendly staff, and a supper hot springs facility make this a regular stop for us. We have stayed in a 29' 5th and a 37' motor home with no problem. Only a few large sites so check ahead of time in a big rig. I would park in their large parking lot to use the hot springs. This is one of my favorite stops that has an alligator as a camp pet!

You will hate or love this place depending on your feeling about hot springs. Avoid the camp restrooms use the lodge units and no the smell you may encounter is not the sewage system; it is the cows next door. I would never stay here if it were not for the hot springs. That said I always stay here on my way north or south because of the springs. Staff is friendly and a whole lot cleaner then the camp bath houses. This could be a great destination for families. I am sure it has been and will be again.
