Astoria / Warrenton / Seaside KOA, Hammond, Oregon

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

In addition to nightly fee, $2 extra for each pet or child in your group, additional $6 per night for resort fee includes use of facilities and pancake breakfast even if you wish to have breakfast in your fully equipped motor home, friendly staff, nice park but why is there always additional fee for this and that. If I bring them in my coach, the fees should include my family unless of course I'm bringing my football team. Stayed over Christmas week. We camped at Astoria / Warrenton / Seaside KOA in a Motorhome.

Folsom Lake SRA - Beals Point Campground, Folsom, California

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The price is outrageous. $55 per night in summer and winter rates $45 per night. If you have a handicap placard and paid for a CA handicap Camping sticker, it's a 50% discount and if your a disable Vet with 50% disability it's free. The cost to make a reservation on the internet is $8. The prices for State Parks in CA is outrageous. When we arrived, our camping spot was littered with cigarettes and broken glass and there is no TV available. I stayed at two other premium campgrounds in the area during my stay at a much cheaper price. What is the State of CA thinking with their camping prices. Someone with a handicap sticker should not receive a 50% discount and a free veteran campsite is fine if it is on a space available basis. Paying customers should get first priority. I cannot recommend this park because of its lack of amenities and the high price charged to stay. We camped at Folsom Lake SRA - Beals Point Campground in a Motorhome.

Alder Lake Park, Eatonville, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a week in June 2009. Excellent Campground. You must handpick tour site as they are all different in amenities and size. The area is kind of remote so bring your groceries if you plan to stay awhile. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Tacoma Power Company does a nice job of managing their parks. We camped at Alder Lake Park in a Motorhome.

Rainier View RV Park - ( Adult ), Graham, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

80% of the residents here are permanent dwellers. They have sites filled with storage boats, old RVs, etc. The area around the dumpster is shoddy and the laundry room was dirty. When you park your rig, you must park your vehicle next to it negating the option to use your canopy. The fit is very very tight. I have a 34 footer and it was cramped. As you must park next to your rig, there are oil spills next to your entrance door. The price for this park is high especially with no TV offered. Instead of a view of Mt Ranier, I looked at the neighbor across from me working on his pick up truck all day. I've been to worse parks, but this place is a bit over rated and on the downhill slide. We camped at Rainier View RV Park - ( Adult ) in a Motorhome.

Riverwalk RV Park, Fortuna, California

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Best park in the area which is not saying much. Extremely expensive for what you get. Constant loud traffic noise from Hi-way 101 and and adjacent access roads. Will not stay here again. We camped at Riverwalk RV Park in a Motorhome.

Astoria / Warrenton / Seaside KOA, Hammond, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Large park very well laid out. Price is way to high for what you get. Stayed one night then went somewhere else. At this price you would think you would have no dust, cable TV and clean sites. The area was very dusty with the traffic going by, the Cable TV did not work, and the site was very dirty. Campfire ring full of garbage and broken glass all over the site. One of the worst KOA's I have stayed in. We camped at Astoria / Warrenton / Seaside KOA in a Motorhome.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2006 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is way over rated and expensive. we arrived the day the Balloon Fest ended however, they would not allow Good Sam discounts due to the balloon fest. They also claimed they had over runs due to bad weather. There were empty spaces all three days. WiFi did not work and office was not much help. Sites contained litter from previous campers. The campground rep on arrival day was not very cooperative or helpful. I will dry camp before going here. Good Sam should remove them from their ratings. No where in the Good Sam ad does it say no discounts will be given during balloon fests. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.
