Huntington / Fox Fire KOA, Milton, West Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Ok park for an overnight stay. It's close to I-64, but very noisy with the interstate traffic (backs up to the interstate) and a train somewhere that we heard all night. Sites were small and I would not want to be here when it was crowded. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Pipestem Resort State Park, Pipestem, West Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park. It was quiet and peaceful. Roads were good and the park itself was beautiful. I am sure there are lots of things to do in the regular camping season. Not at all crowded in September. We had a lot of space at our site (#16) but some sites did look small. We plan on going back. We camped at Pipestem Resort State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Staunton / Walnut Hills KOA, Staunton, Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Electric and water only. The site was OK, but about 1/4 mile to the shower/bathroom. The park was clean but the interior roads were narrow and hard to follow. The dump site was hard to find. We would not stay here again for a long stay. We camped at Staunton / Walnut Hills KOA in a Travel Trailer.
