Cottonwoods RV Park, Columbia, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park that is north of Columbia near the fairgrounds. The reason we give this only a 7 is due to the very tight space in the roads and the sites, and the fact that you have all the tree branches of the trees that hang over the sites that "rub" on the motorhome when you pull-in or out. Trees are nice, but not at the expense of the paint on the motorhome. Staff was nice. Did not use restrooms or showers We camped at Cottonwoods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rapid City KOA, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This KOA was very "handy" to all the sites in this area: Badlands, Black Hills, Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park. Also downtown was a short distance. Restrooms were clean, showers were clean, laundry was good, site was good (discussion later), the park served breakfast which was great! So far so good. I would have rated a"10", but our site had a tree that should have been trimmed. It hung on the RV, and while we were pulling out. We have a dog, and this park (as well as others) should be prepared to suggest a pet day care. We could not take our dog to all the sites in the area and leave her in the car. Please do homework and be able to recommend a pet day care! We camped at Rapid City KOA in a Motorhome.

Port St Lucie RV Resort, Port Saint Lucie, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We were here just one night. This campground is really too far from the I-95 or the Florida Turnpike for just one night, but I would not camp here any longer than that. The pull-throughs were really just "pull-overs" on the entrance driveway. They were not really even long enough to get into with our 40' motorhome. Thank goodness no one else was using one of the 5 pull throughs that night. When the drivers side slide was out, we worried about being hit if someone drove in the entrance. The camp ground had about three pages of rules. While I do not think we broke any of them in our 10 hour stay, that is just too many rules to follow. The major problems were distance from the interstate and turnpike, about 6 miles with city traffic, and lack of secure and safe pull through spots. We camped at Port St Lucie RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground, Elko, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park. The staff was friendly and helpful, the pull through site very easy to navigate, very easy to hook-up, and very level site. The dog walk was easy to reach and clean. It was very easy to pull out the next morning. We only stayed one night, but the park was very "easy". We stayed on a Camp Club rate. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
