KOA-Black Canyon City, Black Canyon City, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This KOA shows some wear, but the staff is super nice and helpful. The amenities all function, but could use a bit of sprucing up. It appears there are a few 'long term' tenants, but everyone stayed to themselves. We stayed 1 night in a cabin (we've stayed here once before) that the staff had cooled off prior to our arrival. There is now a small tv in each cabin and the Wi-Fi seemed strong enough. If you like a place out in the desert to relax for the evening, this fills the bill. We camped at KOA-Black Canyon City in a Cabin.

Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $64.00
Overall Rating:

Made the reservations for 2 nights over the internet, no problems upon arrival. We stayed in a nice cabin with bathroom facilities. We decided to stay a 3rd night, but the cabin we had was already rented so we moved to a basic cabin without a bathroom. No problems as the public showers and bathrooms were only 50 steps away. We have stayed many times at KOAs and the one thing in common is highway noise. This location is right off busy Hwy 40 so the traffic is constant. I would suggest bringing some type of mattress cushion, as the beds in these units are very firm. We like the cabins and the coziness they provide. The staff was friendly and very easy to work with. I would stay here again. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Cabin.

Used this KOA as a base to visit Bryce Canyon. The managers were efficient, and friendly. Check-in was easy with clear instructions and directions. Sites are level. Well-kept park. Would stay again. We camped at Panguitch KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Wakeside Lake RV Park (formerly Rainbow Lake RV Park), Rexburg, Idaho

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

A "self-serve" operation when we were there. No management on site, but the check-in instructions were easy to understand. Looked like a couple long-termers were parked there, and only two other campers were there the day/night we stayed. Close to the highway but not too noisy. Water and electric worked fine. The bathrooms were old and could use some sprucing up, but functioned okay. Water was hot and good pressure. We would stay again. An RV dump is available. We camped at Wakeside Lake RV Park (formerly Rainbow Lake RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Richfield KOA, Richfield, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, well-kept park. We arrived after hours and had no problem understanding the check-in process. The park is well laid out and lit. The bathrooms were super, good water pressure and hot water. Met the manager the following day, very friendly and business-like. We stayed 1 night, but will be back the next time we are in the area. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Lava Hot Springs KOA, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Park managers were very friendly, but the facility is in need of repairs. The men's bathroom showers had uncovered holes in the walls, and the outside door lock was broken. The RV spaces need to be leveled. Lots of highway and train noise. We stayed only 1 night. We camped at Lava Hot Springs KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
