Best in San Diego! This park is simple, neat and tidy. Great bus access up to Coronado Village. Beach is a short walk away. I stayed here for 3.5 months while house hunting. It definitely felt like home. All the people are great. Summer months, the place is packed. In the fall the crowds thin out and it's quite easy to make a reservation. I do not suggest kids be brought for extended periods. There's nothing for them to do. But short visits, especially if the kids are 4 or under is no problem. Just run your plans by the management. OH AND DID I MENTION, THE SITES ARE HUGE!

Compared to the other local RV parks, this one is nicely situated off the highway in a scenic location. All the people we met here were very friendly. The location also seemed very safe. There are not any stores nearby, so make a stop for anything you'll need overnight before you make camp. I'll definitely stay at Yakima River RV Park again.
