Napa Valley Expo RV Park, Napa, California

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

I agree with the other reviews. The campground is in a very convenient location for touring the wineries. It is clean but very sterile. In my opinion it is more like an RV parking lot than what I consider a campground. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA, Petaluma, California

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Unlike some of the other reviews, we did not have a problem with flies. It did smell like fertilizer the first night we checked in; however, it smelled at the exit ramp also so it may be the area, not the campground. The campground is quite lovely with large pine trees and a very woodsy feel. Unlike most KOA's we've stayed at (which my husband thinks stands for Kamping on the Autobahn!) it was very quiet. I wish I had questioned them about their rates because looking at the other reviews, there seems to be quite a spread. We camped at San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA in a Travel Trailer.
