We stayed here over a three day time period. Myself and another family member already have RV's and a third recently purchased one, this was to be their "Maiden Voyage". This was the perfect location for this. Upon arrival you will be escorted to your site, which is easily accessible. Our sites were near the back and in line where we could "spread out" our "stuff". We had a very large area between the sites where we could set up our games and sitting/cooking area. The restrooms were very clean and even had music in them. The entire project is still not complete, but is worth the trip (will be even more so when it is complete). Most of the current construction is not accessible for visitors as it is behind the tree line, but the website shows the future of this park and it will be amazing. We will be revisiting this park.

We stayed here after being invited by a co-worker that keeps his RV here. We really enjoyed ourselves. The park is very clean and good lay out, with easy access to most sites. We stayed at a site with a concrete pad, but many of the sites are grass. It is very quiet, other than the air boats looking for alligators (they typically start around dark), but they can really only be heard as they are leaving. Our site had great shade, but most of the grass sites have little to no shade. The pool was clean, but small. There is a nice little store on site, though it could use a little more inventory. Overall, not a bad campground and we will likely go back.

We stopped here on our way to Cherokee, NC for a week. We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. We had a site on the lake with a great view and tons of shade. At first, the site looked a little tricky to back in to due to the narrow drive, but there was plenty of room when we got to our site. The park makes for a nice walk, being able to view the lake from most any point. The bath house was close and cleaned daily and Rangers make regular rides through the camping areas.
