We stopped here for two nights on our way to Yellowstone. Great location. Very quiet and secluded setting. Convenient to town and easy to find from the interstate. Sites were level with lots of shade. There was a pool and a short nature trail. Staff was very friendly and the park was very well maintained. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Sioux Falls KOA, Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We usually only use KOA Campgrounds for overnighters on the way to somewhere else, but we stopped here for a week so my wife could fly south for a wedding. Easy to find, but right beside the Interstate so there is some traffic noise. The campground was very busy during our stay but the facilities are kept clean and the park is very well maintained. The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. We will stop here again. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Dakotah Meadows RV Park, Prior Lake, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great campground, paved interior roads and pads, beautifully landscaped, next to a casino and a golf course. This is a newer campground with all the amenities, including an enclosed RV wash and self service fuel station. Diesel was 20 cents cheaper than others in the area. Pull through sites have side by side hook-ups and are a little tight, but the back in sites had lots of room. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Albert Lea / Austin KOA, Ada, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Quiet, country setting. Short drive to Albert Lea, easy to find off the Interstate. Quite a bit of shade. Layout a little awkward, might be tight for a real big rig if the campground was full. Sites and interior roads are dirt/gravel. Had been raining a few days and it was very muddy. WiFi was ok. We camped at Albert Lea / Austin KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Cenla RV Park and Campground, Spirit Lake, Iowa

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park. Easy to locate just off Highway 71. The sites and interior roads are gravel. Has a concrete patio and picnic at each site. Wi-Fi worked well. Cable TV was excellent so we didn't bother with the satellite, but this wouldn't be a problem for most sites since most of the trees are in the seasonal section. Staff has been very busy preparing for the summer but are helpful and friendly. Lots to see and do in the area. Cost reflects a monthly rate. We camped at Cenla RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was immaculate. Staff extremely helpful and very friendly. Resort style layout with controlled access. The electric water and sewer connections were probably the best I have seen. Close to I-70. All interior roads and pads were paved. sites were beautifully landscaped and included paved patio. Nice fenced dog run. Cable TV and wifi available. Regretted that we only could stay one night. reasonable rates. We will return. We camped at Deer Creek Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
