Pickwick Landing State Park, Pickwick Dam, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We were one of 5 or 6 campers in the whole campground. All of the spots were shaded and most were not very level. There was very little sign of an attendant. Very quiet and peaceful. Bath house was clean. There is a wood pulp factory that is close by and does smell from time to time. We would stay here again if we were in the area. We camped at Pickwick Landing State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Big Bone Lick State Park, Union, Kentucky

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

A nice place to stay, not too far from Cincinnati, Ohio. The pads are not very long. Bring plenty of hose because the water is not right on the site. These are friendly hosts. You are not allowed to bring wood from out of state (they don't check), but you can buy a very small bundle from the onsite store for $4.75, or you can drive 10 minutes and get 5 times as much for $8. We would stay here again if we were in the area. We camped at Big Bone Lick State Park in a Travel Trailer.
