Long Point Park Campground (Brevard County Park), Melbourne Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Long Point County Park is NOT located in Sebastian, it is located on the barrier island just off A1A in Melbourne Beach. It was a nice find, many sites are right on the water with a great view. The beach is just a short ride. The management was very friendly and outgoing. Most sites do not have a sewer hookup, but there are a few that do. Bring your bug spray, it can be buggy at times. We camped at Long Point Park Campground (Brevard County Park) in a Motorhome.

Sebastian Inlet State Park, Melbourne Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We really like this campground however, the low voltage problem forced us to leave on our last visit there. There are a few (very few) sites with 50 amp service. On our first visit we were lucky enough to get one of these, no problems. On our last visit there were tents set up in the 50 amp sites that required minimal electric, just doesn't make sense! Thirty amp would have been fine, but the low voltage (104 volts) caused our EMS to shut power down to the coach, exactly what it is supposed to do. The management and rangers were very helpful and let us try the only other available site which also had low voltage forcing us to leave the park and find a site for the night just up the road. If you don't need much electric, this park will be fine, it's a great location. We camped at Sebastian Inlet State Park in a Motorhome.

Neapolitan Cove RV Resort, Naples, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice, clean, well kept park! The staff is very friendly and competent. We were here during the summer so no snowbirds, had the place all to ourselves. The entire resort is tastefully landscaped. Easy in and out and close to everything including the beach, downtown Naples and fine dining, all within 10 minuets. We will definitely come back to this park. We camped at Neapolitan Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Point Of View Key Largo RV Resort, Key Largo, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

This is a brand new RV Resort and badly needed in the upper keys. Easily accessed from US 1, most of the sites are pull thrus and easily navigable. This park is situated on Florida Bay and offers spectacular sunsets. They have a launching ramp for boats and kayaks. We had the pleasure of spending 3 days at this resort while our house was being worked on. The pool and clubhouse are beautiful with two billiard tables and games for the kids. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and we had an escort to our site. There is a great restaurant within walking distance, (Mrs. Macs) and other restaurants and snorkel and dive boats just 5 minuets away. We camped at Point Of View Key Largo RV Resort in a Motorhome.
