Happy Holiday RV Village (formerly Happy Holiday RV Park), Cherokee, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

My wife and I were here for a week. Check-in was easy but staff not very friendly. Campground is very big, some sites are very tight if camping on the creek. Just appears to be run down, could use a good cleanup and some updates. As for WiFi forget it, very poor. I don't understand why campgrounds offer WiFi if it's that poor. Cable service good if you're not wanting a sports channel. We were here with a group and asked to be close to them and we were probably 300 yards or more away, not good. We camped at Happy Holiday RV Village (formerly Happy Holiday RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Kentucky Horse Park Campground, Lexington, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park and clean. Has plenty of sites with ample shade trees for summer time camping. Pool is large enough for this campground. My complaint is this campground is not patrolled by the park police at all. We had golf carts running through our site at night as we sat around the fire, Carts without lights on them. Golf carts are running all time of the night with and without lights and they are going pretty fast. If you camp with little kids please pay attention. We camped at Kentucky Horse Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Eagle's Nest Campground, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has the most unlevel sites I have ever seen. Owners need to invest in a little gravel and smooth out sites. The help at this campground is not good. Sites are back to back, so if you are the 2nd to arrive, you may not have room for the trailer. We camped at Eagle's Nest Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Versailles State Park, Versailles, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is very clean and well laid out. The draw backs to this campground are: 1) $7 entry to the park, 2) Park ranger will come around at 10:30 to 11:00 pm and tell everyone he's had complaints on you being loud and this is you're last warning. Just over managing to me: I was camping with my wife and 1 other couple, how loud can we be? We camped at Versailles State Park in a Travel Trailer.
