Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice RV Park with very impressive facilities within a mile of the Mesilla. The sites are beautifully landscaped and quite wide for privacy but no concrete patio. Dog-frien-dly with a very unique long and clean dog run. WiFi was iffy depending on volume of people in the park but everything else was first class. We had a back-in site along a stone wall along entry road but noise was not an issue. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

San Antonio KOA, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very good value for the price ($25.31 with discount) particularly for a KOA. Located in a recreational area of San Angelo within easy drive to all major retail services. Although there seem to be a lot of permanent guests, it was clean and quiet. Sites are pea gravel and level and all services worked well including cable and Wi-Fi. Operators are very friendly and helpful and facilities are very clean We camped at San Antonio KOA in a Tent Trailer.

Hidden Valley RV Park, Del Rio, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is a hidden gem. Nothing fancy but located in a quiet residential area of old town Del Rio. The sites are all back-in but level gravel with concrete patios and lots of shade trees. This is a very quiet RV park with the birds providing most of the noise. There are no showers or washrooms but a very nice laundry/sitting area. We stopped for a night and stayed three and had a great time exploring the original downtown and historic neighborhood. All this for $20 per night which is an outstanding value. We camped at Hidden Valley RV Park in a Tent Trailer.
