Chris' Camp, Spearfish, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here because of the positive comments posted prior. We certainly agree it is a great stop. Only downside was the very tight sites. There is not much room to move around outside under the awning. Other negative was one of the owners at times lacks decorum. The other owner was great and extremely helpful. We used our Dish satellite and Verizon MiFi which had a 4G signal. We camped at Chris' Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Crow Wing Lake Campground, Brainerd, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Heard some good things about the park but were disappointed in the owners. Very unfriendly. Our Montana has 3 slideouts which made it difficult to put out with large trees on both sides. The water is very hard. Our site was divided by another site that was put in at an angle. Our neighbor's RV back end was about 12 feet from our door. Park itself is nice and well kept. Would not stay there again. We camped at Crow Wing Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Roughrider Campground, Minot, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

DW and I enjoy staying there several time through out the summer as we live an hour away. Most of the sites are real good with some rather close too each other. Hosts are great and helpful. Water is less then desirable as it is hard well water. Stains the toilet bowl and water connection. Other than that, we highly recommend it. We camped at Roughrider Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
