Friendly managers at this campground set in pleasant surroundings. Shady, level campsite and clean amenities block. We stayed here for two nights so we could visit the Hancock Shaker Village at Pittsfield. We camped at Northampton / Springfield KOA in a Truck Camper.

Bluffton / Fort Wayne South KOA, Bluffton, Indiana

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

The young couple who run this newly constructed campground were the friendliest people who went out of their way to welcome us and ensure our stay was comfortable. The amenities block were amazing: brand new of modern design and sparkling clean. An artist friend of the owner had painted wonderful murals on the walls in the ladies and gents bathrooms, laundry and in the office/store. The campsites were set among birch trees which will mature to provide shade in the years to follow. I would recommend this campground most definitely. We camped at Bluffton / Fort Wayne South KOA in a Truck Camper.

Broken Arrow Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We found this campground in the Passport America directory. We paid 50% of the nightly rate. The hosts were the nicest people who did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. (I was temporarily on crutches due to an ankle injury). The amenities were spotless and they had me use a beautiful 'bathroom' (which I think was for disabled guests). The park was ideally situated to visit the Black Hills attractions. The horse corrals were up the rear of the park and did not impact on other campers. We camped at Broken Arrow Campground in a Truck Camper.

Fishing Bridge Campground (Concessionaire Operated), Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We telephoned a booking the day prior to our arrival. By afternoon on arrival day, the park was full. We enjoyed our stay here, the staff were efficient despite being extremely busy. The amenities were satisfactory. The staff went out of their way to help me as I was on crutches for an ankle injury, waiving shower fees etc. and providing a chair. The camp site was level and quiet considering the huge number of sites. We would recommend and stay there again. We camped at Fishing Bridge Campground (Concessionaire Operated) in a Truck Camper.
