Ocala Sun RV Resort, Ocala, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a clean park .5 mile off interstate, so very little highway noise. We were assigned a very spacious pull through space (116R). Site was all sand, so we used pads under levelers. Even though we had a torrential rain, water drained very well. Park has large clubhouse with lots of activities. Grocery store 1.5 miles away. We stayed in a motorhome and would definitely return. We camped at Ocala Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We had a space right on lake with patio. It was one of the best sites on park. Swim beach on lake was right next to our site. Grandson loved it. There is a nice restaurant on site. WiFi was probably best we have ever had at any campground. We would define try stay there again. We camped at Flamingo Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sanctuary RV Resort, Bonita Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

A friend recommended this park. It is only two years old. Roads are paved and sites are crushed rock. Spaces are quite large with plenty of room for "toad" and slides. Very nice restaurant on site. Nice heated pool. We would definitely stay here again. Only down side is too many trees. Our satellite had occasional problems. We camped at Sanctuary RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Riverbend Campground, Hiawassee, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a lovely park in a valley surrounded by the North Georgia Mountains. It can accommodate all types of RV's including large coaches. The only down side is that all sites are gravel. We had a pull through site that was new and with recent rains, the site was soft, Even with pads, our leveling jacks sunk in. However, that is the only negative. The Hiawassee River passes along side the park and is a lovely trout stream. The park has a couple of meeting facilities including one with a kitchen. We would come back and stay again. We camped at Riverbend Campground in a Motorhome.

Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very large park right on the ocean. The beach was very nice and the water was very warm. We were there in late august and early September. There is a large camping store on site as well as a very large pool area. This is definitely a great family camping park. Myrtle Beach has several great rv parks and this ranks in the top three. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Crossing Creeks RV Resort (formerly Mountain View RV Resort), Blairsville, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is an excellent RV park located in the North Georgia Mountains. Some of the lots are owned and the remaining are for sale. We were with a group of five coaches over Labor Day weekend. The lots are all either finished concrete or pavers. The park is large and very easy to drive large coaches around. They accept all types of RVs. The setting is in a valley surrounded by mountains - very lovely. There is a very nice swimming pool, spa pool, work out room, very nice shower room. They have an excellent clubhouse with kitchen, fireplace, large hall and laundry facilities. While we were there, the park hosted a wine and cheese happy hour for all guests. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Crossing Creeks RV Resort (formerly Mountain View RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

The town of Blairsville is about 3 miles away and has many nice restaurants, grocery stores and other amenities. We went to attend a BBQ and Blues Festival in nearby Blue Ridge, Georgia, which was a blast. We also visited nearby apple orchids and wineries. This area is kind of the central part of the North Georgia Mountain wine country.

Bella Terra RV Resort, Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed with 4 other motorhome friends over Fourth of July. The campground had a full schedule of activities for the weekend, which we all participated in. Everything, including food, was well planned and enjoyed by all. this is a great place to stay, but is limited to Class A motorhomes. The entrance and park roads are all very wide and are designed for Class A coaches. Our site was level, as are all sites. All pads are concrete and wide. This park definitely deserves the high ratings folks have given it. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Easterlin Park Campground, Oakland Park, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of Broward County's parks with RV campground spaces. It is very nice park, but I found the roads to be just wide enough for my 39' motorhome. On weekends the disc golf is extremely popular and parked cars make it even harder to maneuver. The park is clean and I found the staff very friendly, but I would not consider it big rig friendly. We camped at Easterlin Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Pine Mountain RV Resort, Pine Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I was pleasantly surprised at this campground. The new section is very nice with concrete pads, picnic tables. This area is new and the landscaping hasn't fully been established, so it was a little muddy when it rained. There is a lot to do in the area, so we intend to come back. The campground's facilities are very nice with pool, hot tub, children's wading pool, exercise room, store, etc. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This place is wonderful. It is a true resort for Class "A" only motorhomes. This place is a true "10". Pads very large and sites are fully landscaped. Clubhouse has everything with a beautiful pool, spa, workout room, showers, laundry, etc. There is continental breakfast every morning in the clubhouse. We only stayed one night, but will return for longer stay next Winter. Pricey, but worth it. We camped at Naples Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

River Park RV Park, Valdosta, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, however our site was very near I-75. Fortunately it was cold and our windows were kept closed. The park is very clean and the management is friendly. Our pad was paved, but just wide enough to fit our coach onto. It was a pull through site, about 70' long. Wi-fi was fast and easy to log onto. Lots of cable channels for TV. We stayed one night on our way back from Florida. We would definitely stay here again, but would request a site away from the interstate. We camped at River Park RV Park in a Motorhome.

Grand Lake RV & Golf Resort, Citra, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We spent just one night on our way to South Florida. The campground is very large and has a lot of pull throughs. We arrived after sunset and had no problem getting onto our site in the dark. We stayed on a "Deluxe" site with a concrete pad. There are a lot of amenities, including golf, that we did not have time to enjoy. Next time we would like to stay longer. We camped at Grand Lake RV & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

El Mar RV Resort, Key West, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $99.00
Overall Rating:

This place is a jewel. While a small park - just 11 sites, half of them are right on the water with a lovely view of a harbor and Atlantic beyond. We stayed 6 nights in a motor home. All sites were full with motor homes with one site with an Airstreram trailer. Most occupants had been there for several months and had been coming for years. There are no facilities, such as bathrooms, swimming pools, clubhouse, etc. However, the pads are concrete and very large. Our pad was approximately 30 feet wide and 50 feet long. Park is nicely landscaped. It is 1/2 block from Boyd's Campground, but is much more open and less crowded. The park is at Mile Marker 5, which places it very close to Key West itself - 10 minutes and you are on Duval Street. My wife and I really liked this place and would definitely stay there again if we ever make the long trek down to Key West. We paid $110 per night and it was worth it. We camped at El Mar RV Resort in a Motorhome.
