Jefferson County Fair Park, Jefferson, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Good CG's are hard to find while traversing Hwy 39 thru Wisconsin. This County fairground is a gem for a quick stay. 14 new FHU sites have been added recently. We were very level right away. Good Verizon and Wi-Fi. Grass approaches could be challenging if it's wet. The office staff was very pleasant while checking us in. A bit pricey but tolerable. Very clean! We camped at Jefferson County Fair Park in a Motorhome.

Little Charlie Creek RV Park, Wauchula, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean, well maintained & managed CG. Friendly residents and staff. Verizon friendly, 10 minutes to shopping, activities for everyone, would be great for all winter, quiet. Wi-Fi was good, bike friendly, lots of hot water and spotless showers and laundry. We'll be back and would consider extended stay, would have given it a 10 had it had cable & pool. Very worth the price which is based on weekly cost, trust their web site. We camped at Little Charlie Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Torreya State Park, Bristol, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Out in the boondocks..very quiet and dark..site #2 is too small for anything..only 2 cement pads for handicap. Most sites are well kept, fire pits, 1/2hr to minimal shopping, beautiful, and tall treed location. Tough but not impossible for satellite. Verizon phone and Wi-Fi had strong signals. Several TV stations via rabbit ears. Camp is on highest point in Florida. Great hiking. Gregory House tour inside park.. Would come back and recommend. We camped at Torreya State Park in a Motorhome.

Owner checked us in. Made a lot of excuses why things don't work. She said she'd like to be a monthly only park. 7 channels on cable TV. Verizon worked well. Not much in the area. Had clean laundry and restrooms. This was good for a limited stay. It's about 1/2 mile to water. We camped at Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cactus Cat RV, Brownsville, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 1 night at Passport America rate. It has about 5 transient sites out in front on grass that are OK for overnight. The place is very old, but the owner is nice. Signage is non-existent, and it is not big rig friendly. We camped at Cactus Cat RV in a Motorhome.

Lake Corpus Christi RV Park & Marina, Sandia, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Had a hard time finding this park: the website and P.A. directions were wrong. Used Google Address Search to zero into it. Pool was closed. Called in A.M., no call back twice. It was full when we arrived at 2PM so we went to the nearby State Park. No signs to lead into park and the owner "knows" a few signs are missing! Soooo we can't say much about it, only filled in blanks to post here. We camped at Lake Corpus Christi RV Park & Marina in a Motorhome.
