A beautiful rural setting, gravel sites with good size grass "patio". Mats not allowed. Very quiet. Only 3 other rigs here at this time of year. Lots of trees but we got our satellite to work. No Verizon phone service. Wifi was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We seem to have liked Kaibab Camper Village more than others. It is certainly woodsy, and much more of a "campground" than an "RV Park". In our site, 93, we had excellent sat. TV reception. Our VZ phone and hot spot worked perfectly. Our site would have been a little tight except that there were no rigs on either side. Got lucky. We had no power issues, but we have a Surge Guard.

I agree with previous observations. Cable TV was included in the $30 and it was very good. Wifi good, but slow during peak usage periods. Quiet at night but still quick access to I-40. Certainly not scenic but very practical for an overnight stay. Sites are "side by side" with shared utilities.

Long, level gravel pull through sites. Some have large trees for shade. Close to I-10 but quiet. Wifi pretty good, TV very good. Our satellite worked well. Nothing fancy but very acceptable for a nite or two. The Guadalupe River is immediately adjacent, and accessible, to the park.

I have not problem with a 10 for this RV park. My 9 is based on those that might want cable or antenna TV which is absent here. Our Dish satellite worked fine. Their wifi was excellent. This is a small park (15 sites) so reserve early. It is about 24 miles from Ruidoso. We highly recommend this park. The staff (owner?) were especially helpful.

A good spot in west Houston. New. Clean. TV so-so. Wifi good, but slow during peak usage times. Concrete patio for car or car can go in front of rig.

Pretty much as others have stated. Ok for overnight. Not "scenic". Cable TV good, wifi good.

I can't say anything special about our stay here. Front office folks were pleasant, our site was long and pleasant but now welcoming for sitting outside. Some road noise and a lot of bass coming from a nearby camper at night. Cable TV was pretty good and wifi was excellent at our site (27). An ok spot for overnight, not a destination resort for us.

Date of Stay:

Not a 10 for us because it is not "scenic". Other than that it shows no faults to us. Recent reviews here are spot on. I would add that the laundry is excellent and this year the wifi was outstanding (at our site). This is our 8 th stay here over a period of 11 years.

A very nice, clean and quiet RV park. Like a good state park with all the amenities. Except the wifi at our site (35) was inconsistent. Our site was very long, level (gravel) and private. The location was close to the historic district. We really like this RV park.

We have stayed here off and on since they opened many years ago, pre KOA. I have been critical in prior reviews. But things have changed. Check in, with reservations, took about 1 minute. Cable TV and wifi were excellent! Avoid pull thru site #11 if you have driver side slide outs, there is a major power distribution panel on that side. All sites tend to be narrow but adequate. Noise levels are minimal if there are no car races at the nearby racetrack.

We have stayed here every January for 9 out of the last ten years. This year they've added a surcharge of $4 because we are staying less than 30 days! The wifi would not connect (Tengointernet reported a problem) and the cable TV was so "snowy" it was almost unwatchable. We won't be back.

We stayed just one night. Receptionist was personable and efficient. Site was paved and long. Grass between sites. It was quiet. Excellent cable TV and WIFI.

I agree with the late 2016 reviews. Some of the earlier complaints may have been due to the severe drought in the Central Valley. But we are here is the middle of a big series of rain storms! Cable TV was good, no HD. Wifi excellent. Easy access from Hwy 99. A bit overpriced. Back in sites are $40, ours was a pull-through. Too wet to try the free golf. :-(

We had this campground chosen for us by friends we camped with. Sites were quite close together. Lots of trees, no cable tv, no satellite, lots of trees, Verizon worked. No open campfires. Campground sits at the western base of a very high cliff and thus gets sun very late in the morning. Campground was quiet. We don't recall exactly what the rate was but it was not inexpensive. We are not positive about the site number we show. We probably would not return just to try another location when we return to the area.
