This was a great launching point to visit the Grand Canyon. We have an infant and another on the way, so the round-trip train package was the perfect way to visit the Grand Canyon without being too much of a hassle. You only get about 3.5 hours in the park, but during the dead of winter, that was plenty of time. There was a bunch of snow on the ground, but the park was still clean, and the availability of the hotel amenities (pool, fitness center, restaurant, etc) was a nice addition. Would definitely stay again the next time we visit the Grand Canyon.

This park was perfect for the stop on our way to Grand Canyon from California. The park was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. They have a little cafe on site that serves dinner and breakfast. We didn't try the dinner, but the breakfast was a great bargain. We ordered one plate and split it between the two of us. We stayed here in December, so there weren't many from the lake going crowd. However, this would be a great place to stop if wanting to hit the river in the warmer months. The Wi-Fi was $2.99, but we didn't try it out. They did have about 5 TV stations accessible via antenna. They didn't have a ton of amenities, but the place is what it advertises, and the price wasn't bad. Would stay again if in the area.

Great campground. This place was packed for the Thanksgiving holiday, but it was still extremely clean. The staff was very friendly, and the on-site store had all the little items you may have forgotten. The pool was clean and refreshing, and each of the sites were separated by a nice hedge row and landscaping. Our only minor complaint was that the playground did not have anything for toddlers or infants. A nice set of Toddler swings would have been nice, but this was a minor gripe. The price was a little high, but reasonable compared to other places in San Diego considering all they had to offer.
