I stayed at this campground as a getaway from home weekend. I was disappointed that the game room consisted of two video games and some pool tables. All coin operated but with no change machine. I wouldn't have had the cash anyway since I had to pay with cash because they do not accept cred cards. Another thing they failed to mention on the phone or their website. It took two days to find the path the led to the river. While they advertise walking paths, the campground map they supply doesn't mention them. The path to the river is steep but manageable. The river itself is small and unreachable for fishing or anything else. The staff was super friendly and I believe they would give me the shirt off their back if asked. The grounds were clean and many sites were well shaded. I will not be going back because there is nothing to do onsite.

Wow if you love dogs this is the place for you. If you don't like dogs this probably isn't the place for you. They have lots of fenced in areas for dogs to run off leash including a pond, and stream, agility courses, small dog park, and even a private park. My dogs aren't too social so the enjoyed the large private park. They have a decent cable lineup and a beautiful campground. The store is poorly stocked with supplies but the bath house areas are wonderfully clean, as is the dog grooming station and the dog washing area. They have lots of dog art but didn't even have marshmallows during our visit. The surrounding area is completely void of any semblance of life. The staff there and the owners are wonderful people and they do love their campers and the dogs. We will be going back for a week in October! The drive to get there is a bit off the beaten path but you and your fur kids will think it is well worth it!

This is a fine campground. There are a lot of permanent trailers but it doesn't detract from the resort. There is simply tons to do here. They have a catch & release pond, paddle boats, kayaks, two water slides, two pools, 18-hole mini golf, cafe and gameroom, all for free! The video games do cost a few quarters but it is very reasonable. Our site, a pull through, was disconnected from the rest of the park and fairly level. There were no trees in our section but other sections had plenty. We asked at the store for ladder golf and they supplied us with equipment. We will be going back many times. It is a slight trek from the I-77 but well worth it if you have a few days to kill.

This campground has some of the best views I've ever seen. If you stay at a premium site you'll back up to the edge of a cliff overlooking a river. Breathtaking. Premium sites are at such an angle that the RV next to you doesn't block your line of sight. The premium also have concrete slabs to park on. I stayed at a deluxe site which was plenty nice but not level and gravel. Each site has a nice fire ring, picnic table, and grill. There are lots of well tended hiking trails. There are no amenities specifically for kids. The management was nonexistent. We arrived and the door was locked. A clipboard with my name and a map was hanging on a nail. Even though I wanted to buy stuff at the store it was always locked. The road up was winding and narrow but easily navigable in my 33' Class C. Management did a nice job of plowing the entrance road as it snowed during our visit. I will stay here again but only between April and September.

We arrived at 5:00pm and check in went smoothly. I had reserved a deluxe spot which was beautiful. Nice concrete pad beside a crushed stone parking space. The back of the site had a wooden private deck that overlooked a small lake. The only problem is that I picked that because on the map online those were the closest to the Kamp K-9 dog run. Apparently they moved it and we couldn't have been farther away. The staff was friendly and led me to the site and was there to help backing in. The store on site had ample supplies and food. The location is about 3 blocks from the ocean with one major street crossing. It's not too hard to cross as there is a stoplight. There is also plenty of life nearby. Bars and entertainment are all within comfortable walking distance. I know we'll be back!
