This park has really deteriorated in the past few years. First, the ladies in the office are extremely rude - their attitude is Don't like it -leave. Cable TV is part of the price - the connection at our site did not work so we went back to the office. They were going to charge us $25.00 to change sites! There are many permanent residents here, with lots of junky sites - the list of "Rules" (about six pages) they hand out are not enforced -especially for the permanent residents. You cannot receive mail unless you have a key and mail box - yet temporary guests are not allowed to have one! We stayed here for seven days. Tree limbs overhang almost all spots, which are a problem with slideouts. However, you are not allowed to trim the branches on the trees. We were unable to receive a satellite signal. The sites are frequently unlevel. As full-timers, we will never be back, mainly because of the unwelcome attitude.

This is a nice park - level parking gravel spaces w/lots of grass between lots - small concrete patio, with fire pit and picnic table - very clean. However, the staff is not exceptionally friendly and are selective on how they enforce their "rules". For example, dog pens are not allowed - but a dog pen that is used for a "baby" is allowed. I don't see the difference. WiFi is independently billed - we signed up for a week and for 1 1/2 days were not able to get connected. The first day this happed, I called the contact person and was then able to connect. The second day, the contact person was "out of the office" - I called the emergency number he gave me and left a message. I am still waiting for an answer! There are two laundry facilities with only 3 washers and dryers in each - for a park this size it is very inadequate. The two dumpsters are located quite a ways from our parking spot - not easy to get rid of trash. There are two sections of the park - the old section has nice trees and the new section, where we stayed, has a few small trees that provide no shade. The exit from the park is onto a VERY busy highway - hazardous and very time consuming. No traffic light. Within 1/4 mile, there is a rock quarry and the noise continues 24 hours a day with "back-up" beepers on trucks constantly. We would probably not stay here again - too many other parks to choose from in the area.

Nice park. Level gravel sites w/grass between sites and concrete patio w/picnic table on concrete and sidewalk to table. Grass had no stickers. Some flies. No designated dog walk, so could walk dog everywhere & pick up immediately. Advertised WiFi had poor reception at site, had to go to within 50 yards of office. There was traffic noise despite claim of quiet. It did slack off later at night. Limited facilities: No pool, no sauna, no exercise equipment, small trading library, laundry- 3 washer machines, 4 dryers, no newspapers, no store for RV supplies. Owners fantastic and friendly with helpful info on restaurants and sightseeing. Carthage very scenic, but small historic civil war town. We would stay again for short time.

This is an excellent campground - close enough to OK City to enjoy the sites and, for those retirees or active duty, close to Tinker. The owner of the park greated us and was extremely helpful with ideas on restaurants, tours, etc. The spaces were wide and was an "easy in and out". The only negative we found was that the grass was covered in stickers - which made it very uncomfortable for our Lhasa - spent a lot of time pulling stickers out. We would definitely camp here again when in the area.
