We stayed in this park for three nights to visit the Grand Canyon. We took the railroad to the Canyon and it was a fun experience. Our hostess, Amber Rose, made sure that we were entertained during the trip and kept us advised of historical places and points of interest along the way. The canyon is grand and the overall experience was as well. We would recommend this park to anyone visiting this area. Also, Williams is a fun town on Historical Route 66 with excellent restaurants.

We stayed in this park for three nights on our way to Santa Fe. Our motorhome leveled automatically without any of the wheels off the ground. Easy in and out pull-through lots, close together, gravel lot, good hookups (30&50 amp electric, water, sewer). Casino next door with an excellent diner with reasonable prices, plus a grocery market on the other side of the campground. For gamers, they do have a non-smoking slots room at the casino-Yay! When we checked in the attendant was very helpful about the area and sights to see during our visit. We drove to Pueblo Acoma but it was closed even through their brochure said it was open daily (if you're going, be sure to call first). We also visited El Malpais National Park--very nice facilities and pretty scenery.

The park was easy to locate on Hwy 191; sites were close together, but easy in and out. Our site was gravel and dirt with a paved patio and picnic table. There is road noise since it is right on Hwy 191 and they are in the process of reconstructing their RV sites, sodding grass and planting trees that eventually will be nice. During our stay, it was very dusty and noisy. Management will not honor discounts during their "busy" season, nor will they honor them unless you ask for them--so if you visit this park, ask when you make the reservations and ask again when you arrive. We were in the area to visit national parks so we did not spent much time in the campground during the day. If we visit the area again, we will stay in one of the many other parks in Moab.

We had planned to stay in Tucson for 3 nights, however we arrived at the park with a broken windshield in our motorhome. We called the insurance company as soon as we noticed the crack (Sunday); received a CSR response on Monday. Short story, on Christmas Eve (11 days later) the installers arrived with the windshield and had it installed in short order. During our unscheduled stay, the staff and volunteers at Mission View were so helpful and worked with us on a daily basis to extend our stay and make our visit a nice one. We found the park on RV Park Reviews and are so happy we stayed there. Nice, large lot with paved patio and picnic table, and convenient to many attractions. Definitely recommend and would enjoy staying in this park for a season.

We stayed at this park for four months, from December 2014 through March 2015, on an early registration special. We have been very happy here, with friendly and helpful staff, great community culture, good activities, etc. There is a nice, salt-water, heated pool and a hot tub available for guests, and the park has many park models and a few full-time residents. We would definitely stay here again.

This is actually our second stay at Wassamki Springs. I did check that there was a pool available, but actually it is a spring-fed lake beach for swimming. The campground does have dirt roads that can be muddy during rain and dusty otherwise, but that is my only negative observation. We love coming here and enjoy the area and the people. There are many activities for children and adults; seasonal residents are friendly and helpful along with the staff. We will definitely camp here again if in the area. The daily rates reflect our monthly stay that did include some off-season daily rates and the pay for 21, stay a month. Otherwise, full hookup with 50 amps is $64 nightly peak season.

Rate shown is weekly which includes 1 night free. This is a beautiful campground with roomy sites, lots of green areas and plantings. Seasonal campers keep their rigs and their sites clean and neat, and the owners work very hard to maintain the park in really good condition. Owners/managers are friendly helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. Seasonal campers are friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return if in this area. Recommend highly!

We actually did not care for this park. The staff there was very friendly and helpful, but the "resort" itself is not a resort by any definition I know. In fact, the campground is somewhat run down, dirt roads that are very dusty, non-paved and uneven sites. Yes, you can walk to the beach but you walk over rocks under the highway overpass. If the "resort" charged around $25 per night I wouldn't rate it so low, but it is extremely pricey and, in my opinion, you do not get what you pay for here. The rate quoted included the nightly rate of $50.50, plus city sewer fees, transaction fees, and taxes.

We stayed here for several nights. The campground is clean, easy access, good shopping nearby and a beautiful area Mount St. Helens and Astoria are good day trips. Nice walking trail for exercise around the park; friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely stay in this park if we are in this area again.

We needed to be in the Charlotte area for two months and chose Apollo for our home base while we were there. We found the campground owners to be extremely friendly and accommodating to our needs; the other campers in the park were friendly and nice; and the park is in close proximity to many activities, shopping, dining, and NASCAR. We are not race fans but were there during the Bank of America 500, enjoyed watching the crowds, and were pleased that there was not a great deal of noise at this park as there tends to be at the parks closer to the track. We will stay at this park again when we are in the area visiting family and highly recommend it. There are no restrooms or bath facilities at the park so a self-contained rig is necessary.

We made reservations at this park on the recommendation of friends who live in the area. It is an over-55 park with many seasonal residents who are friendly and welcoming. The lots and grounds are well-maintained as are all park models and travel rigs. There is even a local farmer who brings fresh produce to a stand at the back of the park; weigh your own and pay on the honor system. This is Apple Valley and apple orchards, vineyards and wineries are plentiful. The park offers beautiful views of the surrounding area--mountains, orchards, berry fields, etc.--and has easy access to many nearby attractions. The rate posted reflects our monthly rate as we plan to stay here until closing at the end of October. Owners/Managers are delightful, accommodating and helpful. We will definitely visit the park again.

This was a pleasant over-night stay for us as we were traveling from NC to MN. The campground is quiet and situated alongside Sugar Creek. We saw several people, children and adults alike, enjoying the cool water of the creek during the heat of the day. We had a pull-through site with full hookups that was easy in/easy out. The campground also has rental cabins available.

This is a nice park and the owners are working hard on improvements. We stayed here for two days while we were having some work done on our motorhome. While there is no pool, we did see children swimming in the lake so we assume that is permissible. Also they have canoe and paddle boats available. The owner even came out and gave our vehicle a battery boost when we arrived dead in the water and they were very accommodating during our stay. The only negative factor to us is the fact that they allow children to drive electric carts throughout the campground. We just don't feel this is safe and you had to be on the lookout for them. Definitely recommend this park to other RVers.

We stayed here for 1-1/2 weeks. Beautiful and well-maintained park; staff extremely helpful and friendly. Love the surrounding area. Entrance is steep but short so getting up to the office is easy. Recommend pulling around the office to unhook your toad. Will definitely visit this park again.

We initially planned to stay at Emmaus for one week waiting for friends to arrive from the west coast. We like the campground so much that we e-mailed some photos and asked our friends to stop by. They like the facilities also so we both extended until the end of the month. Owners are friendly and accommodating; all campers are friendly and helpful. Sites are large and provide easy parking. More sites have been put in place toward the back of the park pending the road being paved. The Gulf coast, Pensacola, Mobile, Fair Hope are within easy driving distance. A very nice park that we will definitely include in our future travel plans. Rate posted reflects Passport America discount.
