Pheasant Ridge RV Resort, Wilsonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

1) Unknown daily rate; I stayed on a monthly rate.

2) Pleasant grounds, well maintained, convenient location.

3) Internet rarely usable.

4) Agreeing to "auto-pay" means nothing, because you will still receive a paper bill in your in-office mailbox each month, even if you specifically request no paper and that the offered auto-pay be enacted anytime you owe the RV park any money.

5) cannot receive any mail at this RV park; it will be returned to sender. RV park management recommends use of General Delivery in Wilsonville, OR. I used FedEx who delivered items to my RV site steps.

6) most sites will not accommodate an RV plus 2 passenger vehicles, but sites on the westernmost edge of the park do. We camped at Pheasant Ridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort's RV Park, Pueblo, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I've spent most winters here for 5 years now. This is the ONLY RV park in the city limits of Pueblo, Colorado and is close to shopping, dining, local tourist activities and I-25. I stay monthly and currently pay $475/month for 50amp service, including water & sewer. The asphalt lot needs to be redone, but otherwise everything works fine. The restrooms, showers & laundry are clean and functional (you get the key pad code at check in time). Numerous elm trees shade most sites in summer and fall. The "one or two night" sites are the ones in the back that are pull through, and have no trees. Many convenience & liquor stores are within a short walking distance. Interstate is one block away. Two convenience stores are literally less than a block away. We camped at Fort's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Taylor Oaks RV Park (formerly Taylor Oaks RV & Trailer Park), Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Nightly rate is a guess, since I stayed here for a month at $225 plus electric. Sites are small and most are shaded. Getting in/out of the park is tough due to narrow streets and large trees. DO NOT follow the signs to the office unless your RV roof is under about 10' 6" in height. I did $6k+ worth of damage to the roof of my RV (11' 4" height of front a/c unit) while driving on the north most road in the park. Park is very quiet, and a short walk to Water Street & town. A long walk to the beach! We camped at Taylor Oaks RV Park (formerly Taylor Oaks RV & Trailer Park) in a Fifth Wheel.
