Mammoth Mountain RV Park, Mammoth Lakes, California

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great RV park, and the only one in the area with hook ups. It gets booked early in the year. Only half the park has full hookups, so book early. They are big spots. The overflow is a parking lot with only electric/water, but the spots are still big, no shade. Staff is friendly. We camped at Mammoth Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain Meadow RV Park, Hungry Horse, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $42.00

This was a beautiful campground. The spots were all wooded. Spots were long and wide. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay if visiting the area or Glacier National Park. The WiFi signal got weak at the RV spot. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Double Dice RV Park, Elko, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is a gravel parking lot. Just enough room to pull in and put out slides. Good Sam had the bathrooms rated a "10"; however, they were filthy and had no towels for drying hands. The dryers did not work either. A staff member was walking out of the women's restroom as my wife walked in. They never returned to restock. We ate at their "Family Friendly" restaurant, which was a room tucked in the corner. We waited a long time to order and longer to get the food. It was horrible. My son's burger was burnt. I got sick off of my food. DO NOT stay here! We camped at Double Dice RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in the over flow area which is a parking lot with electrical/water. Tree area behind the spots with fire pits. Facility was clean. Nice bike path that leads into town, close and easy ride. We camped at Mammoth Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

The park is very clean and nicely maintained. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The sites are paved and level and the park is easy to get in and out of. It is located just a couple of blocks from the west entrance to Yellowstone Park and is walking distance to surrounding stores and restaurants. They offer several different discounts to include AAA and Military. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground, Virgin, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Park was clean and well maintained. The sites are concrete and leveled. The roads are narrow and at times difficult to manuever in for parking/leaving due to vehicles parked in front of camp spots. Shade and grass at each spot with picnic table and camp fire ring. Staff was friendly and helpful. This park is close to Zion National Park and they have a daily bus from the campground. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Skinner Recreation Area, Winchester, California

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great weekend getaway, close to the Inland Empire. We have been coming to this campground for years since it is close and only a short drive from our home. It has always been clean with friendly staff. There are large grass areas for the kids to play and plenty of room to ride bikes. Great playground for the kids also. The park is going through renovations, adding a water play area which will be great for summer. We camped at Lake Skinner Recreation Area in a Fifth Wheel.
