St. David RV Resort, Western Horizon, Saint David, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $4.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 14 nights under our WHR membership. Our site was a little tight for our 38 ft. FW. We could have asked for a bigger site, but didn't. The campground is older but very adequate. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We like this campground and the area around. There is a lot to see and great hiking areas to visit. We will come back again next year. We camped at St. David RV Resort, Western Horizon in a Fifth Wheel.

Hidden Valley Ranch, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

The pull-thrus were fairly level gravel and adequate width. We used our Direct TV dish. Wi-Fi was adequate. Our Sprint air card didn't work. Also our Sprint phones were iffy. The campground was on 8 miles of reasonable gravel road, but was very peaceful and quiet. The sky was great. Stars would have been great if not for outside lights of the other campers. Great desert hiking or ATVing. We camped at Hidden Valley Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 3 nights in our 38ft. FW. Easy pull-thru level gravel sites just off the HWY. We used our DirectTV. We loved the area, lots to do and see. Will stay here again, but longer. It's north of town so you will have beautiful sunsets and stars. We camped at Boot Hill RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The park was very nice. Staff showed us to site and helped with backing in. All sites are back-in. Gravel site w/concrete patio, and blacktop tow vehicle parking. 50 amp/TV cable w/DirectTV. Sites are the right size. We have a 38 ft FW w/3 slides. Streets are a little tight, but we could still get around. Would stay here again. We camped at Green Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
