Would have to agree with previous review. Would rate this park even lower but is really the only available RV park we would consider staying in. I did not find the registration people helpful at all. Had to get out of the car and go tell them to lift gate bar, so could get into the park. There was a lot of sites available away from the Highway 1 (noise) but we ended up 2 rigs away from the road. Having the ocean near by was a plus. My overall feeling for this park, so-so.

Parks' draw is it is close to the "The Strip". You need to be aware it is very noisy. Many of the spots are right next to I-15 and the park is in the path of a runway for the airport. Beware of site 185. We are crammed between 3 huge electrical units and a lot of foliage. To use the front door we have to walk around the whole coach. We will be looking for another place to stay.

There is no host. You are on your own. Electric only. We were in a 37' motor home and it was tight to get into place. Nice small town, quiet. Did not know the charge as city hall was closed when we got there, so mailed them $15.00 for one night. About 8 spaces for rigs. Really more suitable for trailers and small class c's. Very limited places to eat.

Nice park for an overnight stay. We were in a 37' motorhome and had lots of room to maneuver. Good breakfast at restaurant. Staff very friendly. Didn't use showers, laundry, etc. Lot of rigs there full time, we think men working in oil fields or for the rail road. It was quiet. A little pricey, No trees, grass, gravel sites.

We have stayed here numerous times in the last 4 years, but will not stay here again. The sites are very close, the asphalt slopes front to back. The park has mostly full timers, with the 'junk' that seems to happen with full timers. This park is right off Interstate -5. We were about 100 feet from the freeway. Impossible to sleep as the traffic, including of course, the big semi's, were rolling all night. The showers cost money to use.

We made reservations one week in advance. Upon arrival were told we would not have a pull through as we had been reassigned to a 40' back in, as people who were going to stay a week were given the pull through site. I had to wonder why I had bothered to make a reservation. Site was 30' from a major highway ( had husband measure it). We also discovered that we only had 30 amp not 50 amp. The temperature was 90 degrees. Needed 50 amp. for both air conditioners. No sleep, hot and noisy. Will not stay here again.

This park has gone downhill in the last 2 years. Bathrooms were dirty, showers not clean, light fixture hanging, broken. The sites were overgrown with weeds. The laundry room is not clean...I cleaned washer before using it. I will not stay here again.

Beautiful views of surrounding territory. Very hard to get level. Quiet! Would definitely camp here again.

Nice landscaping but the sites are narrow and the sewer hook ups are uphill.

Nice campground six miles outside of Johnson City, Tx. Manager has a fire pit and a fire going almost every day and night. The only downside we experienced was the restrooms were very small and the plumbing did work very well.
