This is a beautiful park for being in an urban area. The site was level but the electric pedestal was located in the rear 1/3 of the site so that my living room slide forced me to park the RV 3 1/2 feet into the site. I couldn't move forward because my long bed crew cab would then not fit in the site and I did not see any overflow parking (although there may have been). All utilities worked but the Wi-Fi was pretty bad, not from signal strength though, but because the provider was having problems. There was a lot of helicopter traffic flying overhead late into the night that was fairly loud but other then that it is a quiet park. All in all a nice park in a great area.

Camped here for Calico Days at the ghost town. Price reflects special event pricing for 5 people and we don't have the discount. The facilities are well kept. The bathrooms and showers are excellent, the pool is nice, there's a playground for the children, and they have an archery range with equipment to rent. Wi-Fi worked fine. Our site was level and gravel. It was close to the highway so sitting outside was noisy but it was far enough away that inside the trailer it was quiet. We did have a little problem with ants at the site. There were enough to make us to not want to sit outside one night. All in all we would stay here again.

The sites are are well kept and a good size surrounded by large redwood trees. The campground’s excellent location, minutes from Santa Cruz, make up for it’s outdated amenities. It’s a nice and quiet park, great for a woodsy feeling home base for visiting the area. There are only 4 shower stalls for the entire campground, 2 for the men and 2 for the women. They were acceptably clean except for a lot of sand at times from people coming back from the beach. As for the amenities, the pool was clean, the game room as advertised on the website doesn’t exist, there are 2 pool tables for .50 per game but are badly in need of recovering, and the ping pong table had no net and was a weathered piece of plywood. The convenience store is basically non-existent and was limited to items contained in a small hutch but the town was close by. WI-FI worked at our site. Overall the park is nice and its location is great. We have no problem with staying here again in the future.

Our second time staying here. This rate reflects special event pricing with additional people in our party. Well maintained level lots, had no problem with a 33' fifth wheel, crewcab longbed. The location is of this park is outstanding for wine tasting and there is a water park across the street to keep the kids entertained. WiFi worked fine and the pool is well maintained. I will be staying here quite often in the future.

Not a bad place to relax in a nice rustic setting. Site layout got a bit confusing with our pull through site potentially being blocked by the next site. When we checked in, the place was packed, the roadways were not marked clearly and it looked as if a rig was camped on one of the roads. This caused me to drive into a dead end road. A lot of low branches that park workers attributed to government rules prohibiting pruning. Overall we had a relaxing long weekend of quality family time and fishing. I would stay here again.
