Lake Havasu State Park, Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

This park was clean and well maintained. The site was gravel and the hookups worked properly. However, after one pays for a site the office staff then explains the dog policy. They are not dog friendly, I had to walk the dog 4 blocks to a small, very dirty, smelly dog area. One must not let their dog wewe on the way to the dog area. The dog area was so dirty, that my dog refused to walk in it. I did not want to walk in it either. We had to drive outside of the park to let her relieve herself. We would not recommend this park to anyone who has a dog. We won't return. We camped at Lake Havasu State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cocopah Bend RV and Golf Resort, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We found this campground in the Woodalls Directory, which gave it a 5 W rating. This is not the rating I give this park. They are maybe a 3 W rating. The sites are gravel and small. The sewer hook ups ran under our rig and up hill. Try draining your sewer in an up hill direction. Not an easy task. The roads were very narrow, causing a nightmare when we had to back in with very little swing distance. The Wi-Fi did not work. We would never stay here again. We camped at Cocopah Bend RV and Golf Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Rancho California RV Resort, Aguanga, California

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $45.00

Love it here. Have been here for three months. Pet friendly, people friendly, beautifully maintained. Outdoor Resorts are the Ritz of RV camping resorts. We have not found another park that compares and we have stayed at many so called 5 W 'resorts' we found in the Woodalls guide. We camped at Rancho California RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
