Barton Park, Boring, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely, partially wooded park with level sites and some privacy trees. Don't GPS the park, go by directions or you will come in on a very narrow road. Good Verizon. Some sites don't get satellite including mine but I think site 66 in front of me would. The entrance to the park is very narrow and I hit a low hanging branch. We camped at Barton Park in a Motorhome.

William M. Tugman State Park, Lakeside, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

All of the sites are heavily wooded and close together but most also have 8 foot bushes between the sites which make them very private. Except for the weekend, when the sites across filled up, I had a view of the woods in every direction. Since bushes/trees are so close to the site, they require care to back into. Too many trees for satellite but Verizon was good. Boat dock in park. We camped at William M. Tugman State Park in a Motorhome.

Off US 101 so great drives in both directions. Great drive on Cape Argo Highway that ends at Cape Argo State Park.

Awesome park with tall pine trees and pretty level sites, just off I-5 but sites next to the river are quiet. Close to attractions. We camped at Valley of the Rogue State Park in a Motorhome.

Sycamore Grove Campground, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Pull through, water and electric, needed a little leveling, short walk to the river, great Verizon, lots of big trees but some sites, including 052, have satellite access. Only down side it that it is not close to many tourist sites. I would stay here again for a night or two. We camped at Sycamore Grove Campground in a Motorhome.
