Grindstone Campground, Sugar Grove, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

My wife and I were there on our fall track to the VA Creeper. This State Park is highly maintained by a group of very friendly personnel. Each lot is spacious and heavy in tree cover. On our visit the leaves were turning color, which to the enjoyment of our ride. We will utilize this park again. We camped at Grindstone Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cape Hatteras KOA, Rodanthe, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We spent a week in this camp/rv park. It was actually the week prior to Mother's Day. My wife , two other couples and myself obtained 3 adjoining spaces at the ocean's front door. Our days were spent enjoying the park almost entirely by ourselves. The Host and Hostess were outstanding and all were very friendly. They did have some construction going on, upgrading the heater at the bath houses. We were not disturbed by this and at no time were we without hot showers. I will return to this location again. We camped at Cape Hatteras KOA in a Travel Trailer.
