J & D Campgrounds, Catawissa, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $40.00

J & D Campground is one of our favorites. Although strict on rules this did not affect our stay. It is actually welcomed, some places are just too lackadaisical. We always look forward to our yearly stay! We camped at J & D Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

Indian Head Campground, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is very run down. It appears to flood out quite a bit. Our site was very roomy. There really wasn't a lot of other campers. The owners were very nice, but I felt as if I were in a time warp. It's ok if you have a fully contained set up, but amenities were extremely limited. There wasn't much for the kids to do. If sight seeing and planned activities will keep you busy, it will probably be OK. We camped at Indian Head Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Colonial Woods Family Camping Resort, Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This CG is in my backyard . My family really enjoys it. We usually will keep our trailer up there for multiple consecutive weekends in the spring. It is really a family campground. The owners really take pride in the place. There are many organized activities for the kids. They also have done many upgrades in the past few years. I really respect there no tolerance on rude and unruly campers. But they are definitely not over the top. The only downfall for me is no sewer sites. I have definitely gotten spoiled over the years. We camped at Colonial Woods Family Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.
