Wine Country RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Great stay at Wine Country RV resort! We had a site overlooking the Firestone winery vineyard: gorgeous. Site was a bit uneven: had to use leveling blocks. Wi-Fi signal wasn't strong enough to really use. Kids loved the Ravine waterpark across the street (ravinewaterpark.com). Mom and Dad loved the grapevine-lined path to Firestone. Bathrooms were clean, pools were clean. We were charged for each child over six years and for the dog, but would gladly do it again. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Doheny State Beach, Dana Point, California

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here on a beautiful January weekend and were very pleased with the location of our site (#116) and the condition of the park. Trains go by very frequently (several times per hour), but this wasn't as bothersome as I had feared. Beach is lovely; next time we will for sure try to get a beachfront site. We used our generator in the morning and evening- there seemed to be a lot of people doing the same. We camped at Doheny State Beach in a Travel Trailer.

Betabel RV Park, San Juan Bautista, California

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday at this RV park. The Park was very clean; nice pull-through spots. We have three children and did not realize that the park does not allow scooters and such, which was understandable but a bit disappointing. It definitely felt like a adult-only park- we didn't see any other children. It has good proximity to Monterey and Santa Cruz for day trips. We camped at Betabel RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
