Big Pines RV Park, Crescent, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this campground. There's no planes, traffic or trains to disturb the peace. The nights are so quiet and you can hear the pines sing in the breezes. There's open areas for satellite and even star gazing. The managers are very friendly. We stayed four nights and will be back. We camped at Big Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground is older but has nice cabin, restrooms, and the laundry is being upgraded. People are friendly and we got an invite right away for the July 4th activities. The previous review is on target. We stayed a week and were very pleased. We camped at Harts Content Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Blanton Creek Park, Fortson, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We love this park. The park is in Central time and the office is on Eastern time, so have to pay attention when the gate is locked. We stayed by the lake but there are other sites that are good too. There's fishing and water activities and a small playground for the kids. It's well worth the trip to stay. Be sure you have groceries--it's a few miles to get to nearest food source. We camped at Blanton Creek Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Jennings Outdoor Resort Trav-L-Park, Jennings, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

A great park for a few nights. The parking is close but no problems getting in and out with the pull-through sites. We stayed two nights. The pool was nice and so was the clubhouse and showers. The lake is great for a walk around and the ducks and fishing is perfect for a feeling of nature. We'll be back. We camped at Jennings Outdoor Resort Trav-L-Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stay in this park every time we're in the area. It's very clean and has a river for fishing and canoeing. There's space between the sites so it's comfortable. All the previous reviews are true so won't elaborate. Great for families and those that like to camp in a tent. We camped at White River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Grandma's RV Camping, Shepherdsville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We love this campground. It's close to all the tourist areas and downtown Louisville. We did the Bourbon Trail and the wine tour for the county. The flea market has a great veggie stand on weekends so we stocked up. It's very quiet even with I-65 nearby. Highly recommended to stay to see the area. The sites are close, but worth it. We camped at Grandma's RV Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Sunrise RV Park, Moscow Mills, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

My sister lives a few miles down the road, so we stay a week or two at a time. The previous comments are true, but thought I'd do an update for 2012. The roads in are very rough, but the owners don't want a lot of speeders due to grandkids playing on a playground in the area of the RV sites. The WI-FI is great. The owners are very helpful if you need something. We camped at Sunrise RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is right off highway 20. It's very quiet with helpful and friendly staff. The park has play area, pool and miniature golf. Wal-Mart and restaurant is on each side. It's a great park to do some sightseeing in Dubuque (Field of Dreams) and Galena with great views and shopping. We will stay again when we're in the area. We camped at Palace Campgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.

Crystal Springs RV Resort, Ellendale, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

We liked this park. It's being built with something being added almost daily. It's a 10 year project to sell the sites for those over 55 as a seasonal. There's no amenities as of this date. It's very quiet and well worth a few days stay. The nearest town with anything that's needed is 15 miles to Albert Lea. The owner knows not all sites will sell, so nightly, weekly or monthly will be available. We will stay again. We camped at Crystal Springs RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Sid Turcotte Park Camping and Cottage Resort, Mattawa, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful park for the outdoors type people. The Mattawa river runs past the park with two swimming areas. It has play areas for children. Sites have both trees or no trees. Wonderful friendly couple are the owners. Wi-Fi is at the picnic table in front of the office only. Satellite will be hard to get if the site is in the trees. We are from the USA so our dish would not get reception. The town is very small but does have grocery. Campfires are OK. We camped at Sid Turcotte Park Camping and Cottage Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has updated to 50amp full hookup sites, big rig pull through sites recently. They are open from May-Oct. There's a restaurant on the grounds along with small store that stocks every Friday. There's a large play area for baseball or frisbies and a small playground for the children. Everything is very clean and updated. We will stay again when coming through the area. Country Acres Campground, Gordonville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Great staff. The big rigs should park in the upper back section. The pool has just been added and very nice. The site we're in is very unlevel and all sites are gravel. It's very clean and close to many Amish restaurants and sights in the Amish area. We will come back again. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
