A beautiful oasis in the forests of central Oregon. Many picturesque sites, some shade, partial shade or sun. We were greeted warmly by a staff member who became our good friend for the remainder of our stay. The extensive gardens and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The hot mineral soaking pools, especially the lower pool outside the lodge building which is surrounded by lawns, gardens and the rushing McKenzie River. A newly opened food and snack bar offers a plentiful selection of delicious items. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back.

This park is hardly "The Ritz of RV Resorts" as it likes to advertise! We have stayed here five times previously and made complaints to management we thought were appropriate about the items listed below. Management has not corrected any of them. Rather Management ignores any problems that would require some serious work and instead tries to make it "look" superficially attractive with landscaping maintenance. However the infrastructure: showers, shower heads, temperature control valves, utility connection stations at sites (which is dirty and antiquated), cleanliness of beach, (which is really disgusting) is on a downhill spiral. Without an infusion of substantial cash for infrastructure improvements, this park will do nothing but deteriorate further. I encourage prospective visitors to review all of the earlier reviews.

Stayed here for four nights. Office staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating, but were not familiar with individual sites. Most sites are not level. Trees haven't been pruned in years. Overhanging branches prevent satellite signals and make the park dark and gloomy. Some sites have cable, some do not. Some have satellite reception but not cable. Shower heads are awful. We would not stay at this park again. Park not generally well maintained.

We have stayed here for about a week each year in January for the past four years. We find it very enjoyable. The staff is friendly. There is a well-equipped store on site. Pads are level. Lots of grass around the sites. Bathrooms are clean, but hopefully will be remodeled in the future. Wi-Fi has steadily improved over the years and is now puts out a steady, strong connection. Traffic noise from nearby highway 101 did not bother us at all. We purposely avoid the New Year's celebration which we found crowded and noisy.
