We had only planed on staying a few days to meet some friends but when we arrived and saw what a great place it was we extended our stay. The sites were spacious all concrete for both RV and truck. Park managers were very friendly and helpful. The streets were well lighted and well paved. The clubhouse and pool area were kept clean and well maintained. Many activities and free entertainment on a few evenings. It is a 1/2 hour drive to the beaches or town but it's worth the drive. We have made reservations for next year.

Our site was a little tight some others were spaced better. The lady who checked us in tried to compare which package price was the best for the money which was helpful. We definitely wanted to visit Lion Country as many times as the 3 day package allowed. We stayed 7 days and used the 3 day package offer 2 times. Lion Country itself is a wonderful place for people of all ages. Workers at both the campground and park were very helpful. Many staying at the KOA were Snowbirds mostly from Quebec speaking French thus didn't speak to many. We did hear the lions every night because the park was next door we loved hearing them. We would come again if we could bring the Grand kids and have a better site not so tight. However we would not stay as long.

Convent to Interstate 95. All sites were good mostly all paved. Everyone very friendly, nice restaurant on site with homemade food. Our site was 48, great view of lake since no one was across from us. We would stay there again.

We had reservations for the month of February. Since we were there for a month they put us in the back older section which backs up to Interstate 75. The daytime noise was very loud and in the evening it did not let up till about 2:00am. The sites in this section were very small with no place to park our truck except in our site which cut it down even more. It seems the people who were only staying for a short while got the better sites. The Laundry was outside the gate, thus open to the public. Half of the washers were out of order and the ones that worked were dirty. They closed at 8:00 p.m. I would not spend the money to stay here again even though the "New Section" was more spacious, the facilities were not as expected for the price. The people were not very friendly nobody spoke to us at the "Coffee & Donuts" on Wednesday morning even-though we tried to strike up a conversation.

This park is mostly permanent Trailers. There were only a few sites for Transients like us. There were a couple of permanent older buildings with full-time residents. Most sites were in the trees and very small we could not fit in. The site we had was on the water and had a great view. There were 3 other sites the same as ours. The manager was very friendly and helpful to find the correct site for us, as we could not fit in our original site. The laundry was cleaned after we mentioned it needed attention. Most of the people were friendly except the ones who spoke French. We extend our stay since the view and location of our new site was good.
