Camping Transit, Levis, Quebec

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, clean and tidy park. Sites were very large and level, although they had little to no gravel on the lots the ground was very solid. Park was easy to get around in with a 45ft flat towing. Sites are pretty much like parking in a field with few shade trees in the center. Wi-Fi was extra but the signal and speed was great. We stayed for five days while exploring the area and would stay there again. This would be a great park to use while passing through as it is convenient to auto route 20. We camped at Camping Transit in a Motorhome.

Montreal South KOA, St. Philippe de Laprairie, Quebec

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Staff was not exactly friendly on the phone when I reserved. The woman who checked us in was the same. I asked for a pull through, and told them I had a toad when reserving and was told that I would have to disconnect when we arrived. I wonder if I spoke French if they would have treated me better. Site was fresh loose gravel into which my rig sank about 4 inches. Sewers were all wide open with no covers in sight. The only plus that I can find is that it is in a good location when passing near Montreal and they have 50 amp sites. We camped at Montreal South KOA in a Motorhome.

Maplewood Acres RV Park, Bainsville, Ontario

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean well run "family" park. We were just passing through and chose the park for its location adjacent to the 401 HWY. The owners were super friendly and more than helpful. We had a pull through site and made it in and out with a 40ft and a toad with no problem. Would stay again. We camped at Maplewood Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lands End Park, Tobermory, Ontario

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean well ran family park. Park is located a short distance to downtown Tobermory. We had a enjoyable stay. Park was a little tight for our 40' rig, but was maneuverable. We were here early in the season and manager said further limb trimming was yet to take place. Would return if in the area. We camped at Lands End Park in a Motorhome.

Lakeview RV Resort, Houston, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Managers went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and to help out when possible. We booked late when they had few openings. My only issue was that we had a forty foot back in site with a forty foot unit, and the fellow behind had gone over his back line which put us partially on the road. Luckily the park has nice wide roads which left us lots of room. The sites are well laid out with ample room to get in and out and to maneuver. Nice clean well laid out park, close to down town and perfect for our 5 days in Houston. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lakeview RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Beautiful high end resort style park. Will be nicer when complete. Location was not my favorite (too far from wonderful local beaches). Super friendly and helpful staff. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

There are friendly helpful staff. It is a great location across the street from the gulf. It is a nice, clean "grass and gravel" park. We camped at Cajun RV Park in a Motorhome.
