Flaming Arrow Campground, Whittier, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Not bad and not great. we had cable and sewer which was good, we had a non-grassy site which was just dirt. I used the pool and it was clean but had some covering on the concrete that hurt my feet. The grassy sites looked better than ours. We have a 20 ft but if we would have had our 32ft fifth wheel, the road in and out would have scared me. One weird thing is when we checked in, we were asked to buy firewood and we did not and was told if we touch the woods behind our site that she would charge us $20. Close to the casino and everything but would have rather had a cleaner site or one of the parks on the water. We camped at Flaming Arrow Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I was not impressed, sites are way to close and area doesn't feel very safe either. We camped at Arbor Terrace RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tifton KOA, Tifton, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing wrong with this place at all. We enjoyed it. There is enough room between each other, and they were having events for 4th of July that we were unable to attend. Only one exit from anything you need, but very nice and clean and quiet. Owner was very helpful and I would stay again. We camped at Tifton KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Red Top Mountain State Park & Lodge, Acworth, Georgia

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is another one of Georgia's great State parks, It is so private and it had huge Pull throughs that gave us all the room we needed. They charge $25 but then you have to buy a Parking Pass to get in the park but it is worth it. It also had cable TV which was a great plus up in this mountain. The park was very well maintained, the fire rings and gravel sites were Great. We camped at Red Top Mountain State Park & Lodge in a Travel Trailer.

Good Location to WDW. It was high during Snowbird season but safe and secure, so worth the money. We camped at Elite Resorts at Citrus Valley in a Travel Trailer.

Lazydays RV Campground, Seffner, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

I have been to this campground before and loved it but I made the honest mistake of going during "snowbird" season and Wow, what a difference. The people who check you in acted like they were frustrated beyond compare, The person serving the cafeteria food rolled their eyes at us for saying Hello. If you have a large motorhome, the sites are very tight, we have a smaller unit now and it fit a lot better than last time I was there but I will never go back this time of year. I still like this place but never again when it is this packed. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.
