Fidalgo Bay Resort, Anacortes, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We brought our 12 year old grand-daughter here for 4 nights for her birthday, and were very pleased with the location. The walkway is also used for bicycles, so we got to ride that one way and then the opposite way into town, and managed a very pleasant 9 mile ride that way. We sure enjoyed the riding and the walking on that path. I guess we had a premium site, thus the high expense. We couldn't really see the water though, until the RV next to us left. Then it was a beautiful view, for the rest of that day. We all liked the city of Anacortes, a nice small down with cute restuarants. We also enjoyed a beautiful hike just a few miles from the RV. We would and hope to come again. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Gig Harbor RV Resort, Gig Harbor, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

A pretty RV Park, though hilly. The pool was nice, but the hours weren't. We'd be out and about during the day hoping to swim at night, but the pool closes at 6:00 pm. We did have to use levels on the fifth wheel. Overall, this was a very nice park, a bit expensive. The main reason we wouldn't stay here again was having to pay the toll bridge every time we came back to the park, and the traffic was horrible between Gig Harbor and Auburn, where our family was. We stayed here two different weekends, with two different sites. The first site, #13, was much nicer than the 2nd site, #31. We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Rancheria RV Park, Hat Creek, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This was a really nice place to stop for the night, and we appreciated the little dining room in the reservation office, along with the supply store. The site we had was very long, nice and level, and no one was placed behind us, which could have been the case. There were trees and water near by, and it was very relaxing. No road noise. We would certainly come here again on our way back to NV. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Yes, the dining was a bit expensive, yet appreciated after a long day on the road when you just don't want to cook.

Winchester Bay RV Resort, Winchester Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice surprise, just a beautiful park. We stayed in site 121 and had a full view of the ocean/bay. We would love to return and would ask for the same site. They even had a table with a jigsaw puzzle set up in the laundry room. Anyone wanting to could work on it while waiting for your laundry. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Emerald Forest Cabins & RV, Trinidad, California

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

A beautiful campground under large redwood trees. It is well maintained with easy access in and out. We stayed in site 20, which was very large and far from the highway, though it is right next to a row of very nice looking little cabins. We'd ask for this same site next time. We camped at Emerald Forest Cabins & RV in a Fifth Wheel.

Four Seasons RV Resort, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff, and 'ok' campground. We stayed here to take the jet boat ride the next morning as it boarded at the dock right next door. The laundry room was clean and convenient, open pretty much all the time. We would stay here again if wanting to take the jet boat, but not much else to do here for more than one night. We camped at Four Seasons RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Sea Perch RV Resort, Yachats, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This was the 4th time we've stayed here, but the first since they remodeled the sites. Now they are all full hook ups on nice large cement pads. We are sad to see them selling the sites, though they are selling very slowly. We stayed ocean front, so pretty expensive. You don't need a pool or other extras, the ocean is within feet of your RV. The new club house is great. Our only complaint is that most the sites ocean front are intended for their models or for motor homes, so our fifth wheel had the sewer hose located just in front of our entry door. And it didn't smell so good. Ours was the only site that seemed to have this problem. If we're back in the area we would most likely stay there for a couple of days to be right on the ocean again. Beautiful! We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
