Americamps RV Resort (formerly Richmond North / Americamps KOA), Ashland, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent, first class service from the the staff, especially the managers. FHU, free WiFi, cable, waffle breakfast, and dog run. Only negatives, sites are fairly close together and some noise from I-95. In Richmond for doctors appointments and had to extend stay for follow-up appointment. They had no problem adding 3 days to our reservation. Will stay there again in October. We camped at Americamps RV Resort (formerly Richmond North / Americamps KOA) in a Motorhome.

Bakers Run, Sutton, West Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful 77-site Corps park on Elk River / Sutton Lake. 14 mi. east of Sutton on narrow winding road. We had no trouble with 37 ft. rig towing a pickup truck. Some full hookup 50 amp, some 30, some electric only, some no-hookup sites. Prices from $20. -$28. We camped at Bakers Run in a Motorhome.

Hardeeville RV, Hardeeville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Large level shaded sites. The owners were very helpful. Good Wi-Fi. Plenty of room to walk the dog. Quiet. They also own a good Bar-B-Que restaurant 1/2 mi. north (The Pink Pig). PA rate with tax plus $1 extra for dog was $19 per night. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.

Skidaway Island State Park, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Great park! Beautiful! Section 1 was closed for construction and the cable was out. Every site had its own private lake (large mud puddle) from a lot of rain, but the water soaked in fast. Over all it is a nice park, but they need to add gravel for the low sites. Showers were old, but well maintained. We camped at Skidaway Island State Park in a Motorhome.
