We began RV'ing with my 80 something year old Mom to Canada in 2009, drove to four different Wine areas in California, eloped to Paso Robles and traveled to many, many small side trips out of Florida. We have a Standard Poodle and two GoldenDoodles. And we ALL love to RV!!!! More exploring to come...

We stayed here two years ago and found everything to be about the same... the sites are gravel, level, clean with grass and a nice walking area for pets. The hook ups were convenient and it is a good overnight stop when traveling on Hwy. 287. However, we rated this park a 6 because we are tired of parks/resorts indicating that they have cable and internet. We called ahead to indicate that we might arrive after 5pm and also wanted to make sure that we had internet and the access code. The cable TV has only 3 channels (Fox, USA & TNT) with a lot of static. We had to make several attempts to locate the Park internet site (which is an extra $1.00 per day) and it only had one bar... we could not connect to a browser. If you want cable and internet you will be disappointed.

This is a beautiful modern RV Resort with great sites, pretty landscaping, wonderful office staff, nice laundry facilities, etc. Our site backed up to a vineyard. This park fills up anytime of year, so make a reservation. It is a great location in Wine Country with easy access to the city of Paso Robles and a good location for day trips to the coast or San Luis Obispo. We stayed here for 6 nights and will be back with hope to stay even longer!

We were so lucky to stay here during "season" in Florida. I had tried to make reservations but they were booked. So we ended up at another resort down the street and were so upset at the condition of the resort and the sites that we did not want to stay. We called Val at Pleasant Lake and they had an opening. We were greeted at the secured gate by Ken who escorted us to a nice site, took our information and got us settled in. The resort is clean with a very friendly atmosphere. There were many "snowbirds" who stayed in very nice single and double wide trailers for maybe up to 6 months. And then many sites with both Class A motorhomes and trailers on well maintained sites. Although we were only there for two nights, we were welcomed and did not feel out of place. Our dogs enjoyed the dog walk and the wide paved streets for walking around the man made lake. We like the proximity to I-75 yet Pleasant Lake is quiet and private. We would definitely stay here again!

A very clean and well maintained RV resort. The office was welcoming and we were escorted to our site which had pavers, concrete, a deck over the stream and was nicely landscaped. The nightly rate is a little high but it's still one of the nicest RV sites we have stayed, and it's only a short distance to the beaches. We were here with two large dogs: a poodle and a doodle. There was a nice area, complete with clean-up bags, to walk the dogs. However, my only complaint was that many people, although very convenient, did not pick up after their dogs. So watch where you walk.
