I-30 Travel Park, Benton, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Ok for an overnight stay. I agree with the positive comments from recent reviews. My "add" to what others have shared is: check your power. We wanted 50 but the receptacle at ou sit was only 30 amp. We checked in after hours so it was easier to stay there and modify our power use for 30 amp service (i.e. turn off some appliances to run others). We paid the lower 30 amp price the next morning at checkout - no hassles. We would stay there again. We camped at I-30 Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort, Wichita Falls, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Not at 10 because: wifi not wide enough band even with park 30% occupied; lack significant tree shade; water pressure extra high (no flow restrictors at sites. Overall, a decent park in which we'll stay again AND recommend to others who are not turned off by the above mentioned items. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Crossville / I-40 KOA , Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

A one night stay. Arrived after hours and found paperwork where it was said to be AND tge host broke away from personal work to escort us to our site. Roads paved & sites concrete with picnic tables an fure pits. Pull through long enough to accommodate MH & toad without either encroaching in the roads. Easy access from the interstate. Adjacent highway generates moderate noise but its very limited at night. Downside: for big rigs the pads are narrow, resulting in stepping from the coach into the grass (for some people this is a big deal). The narrow width of both the pads and roads means big rigs transgress into the grass (this too is a big deal for some). We camped at Crossville / I-40 KOA in a Motorhome.

Tip Tam Camping Resort, Jackson, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

A rate this a 5 because it is middle of the road. The rate we'd pay in May 2011 for full hook up is accurate at 52 per night. We chose to NOT stay here because of the pet policy this campground maintains. After reading a 2007 reviewer's experience of being told "NO DOGS can be off your campsite", I emailed to the campground to see if this was a misunderstanding. I received a reply in less than 24 hours stating, "yes this is true we allow dogs on your site but not around the park thank you." I know RVPR doesn't list "PET FRIENDLY", but lists only "pets allowed". Tip Tam allows pets, and if you have a small dog their restriction may be ok for you, I have two large dogs which need walking twice a day minimum; so we're not going to be visiting Tip Tam. We camped at Tip Tam Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Buena Vista Recreation Destination , Buena, New Jersey

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

The main roads are terrible, no question. The secondary roads are not significantly better, but an improvement over the main roads (or maybe we were used to the pot holes by the time we reached our spot). We were here pre-season, so 90+ percent of campers were long term. No issues with the long term folks. Park requires long term residents to meet certain aesthetic standards which keeps up a reasonable appearance for the site. Many pads are natural, hard pack sand/dirt; some are gravel. It was a bit below my expectations for a Morgan Resort; but it worked for the one night we were here. We camped at Buena Vista Recreation Destination in a Motorhome.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

More trees I would have given a higher score. Great view of the river, level sites, could be a great longer term stay. For us this was an over nighter but the second such stay at this campground. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Large campground, lot of room for walking the dogs. Don't rely solely on GPS to direct you to the campground - ours took us through some narrow residential streets. If we had consulted our maps ahead of time we would have avoided this issue (call it navigator error). We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Motel 6 & Brinkley RV Park, Brinkley, Arkansas

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a basic, spend the night, stop over. Nestled behind the motel, the sites are level and most are pull-through. Large rigs are easily accommodated. We stayed here a couple of years earlier and the place was in better shape. Although Wi-Fi is available, it was not working this stay (it did work last visit). We camped at Motel 6 & Brinkley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lee Highway Campground, Bristol, Virginia

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Good place to stay for an overnight. Easy access, convenient to Interstate but not so close that highway noise is a troublesome factor. Large grass area for walking dogs. We camped at Lee Highway Campground in a Motorhome.
