Date of Stay:

This campground is owned and operated by a very nice couple. One amazing aspect was how quiet and open it was. Unlike other race week campgrounds around Bristol they do not double or triple up on the sites. The wide sites (35') were ample to spread out your outdoor furniture and awnings and still have room to park your car/truck. The rate charged was more than fair, and in fact was less than campgrounds closer in and provided more space with peace and quiet. We have already made reservations for both spring and fall races for the next two years.

We had to change our reservation 30 days after confirmation and they were very accommodating to the changes. We stayed there on our way west and because of their reservation flexibility we also stayed there on our way back home. Most sites are heavily shaded so we couldn't use our rooftop satellite dish, but they do have cable.

Date of Stay:

This is a well maintained campground. The pool is small but spotlessly clean as were the grounds. Upon arrival we were quickly escorted to our shaded site. One of their people stopped about a half hour later to see if we had any issues and to make sure everything was working correctly. We stayed 5 nights and were amazed at how quiet this big city campground was. We will stay there anytime we are in Jacksonville.
