Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch, Big Timber, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

The park is hard to rate, beautiful green grass - very friendly management and there are some sites that clearly would be at nine or ten. The 50 amp riverfront sites are essentially a big portion of the gravel road extended to the river with yellow lines identifying where you should park. Side-by-side hookups also in this location. Not really attractive- too narrow and no grass whatsoever. Would not return. We camped at Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch in a Motorhome.

Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Motorhomes Only), Alto, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $82.00
Overall Rating:

Brand new resort, with compelling clubhouse and immaculate sites. You can just see the pride of ownership and the attention to detail. Sites designed to capitalize on views, and ensure that no site overlooks another's water and sewer connections. Natural landscaping, completely level cement paths and top of the line RV pedestals. The clubhouse has barbecue, fireplace, showers, laundry, big screen TV, kitchen - all to a exceptionally high standard. Laundry is free to guests, as is the wifi.
Each site has two Texas style rockers and a gas fire pit for those cooler nights.
Hosts are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, felt like home within an hour of arrival.
Guests also receive privileges at Rainmaker's Golf club, a real bonus. This is a must add to your list, and would be wonderful in those hot summer days.
Will return. Their motto, LUXURY IN THE WILDERNESS, says it all. We camped at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Motorhomes Only) in a Motorhome.

Sunset RV Resort, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Had a lovely asphalt pull through site, with large grass area and new round picnic table under a shade tree. Lots of room on the pad to serve as a large patio area. Really could get comfortable, all hookups worked great, and the wireless was outstanding.

The most gracious host you could imagine. There are mostly long term rentals, but the park is meticulously kept up, quiet and clean.

Short drive into Bee Cave for shopping, and lots to do in the area. We highly recommend. We camped at Sunset RV Resort in a Motorhome.

American RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in a premium pull through and had a lot of difficulty levelling. All units in this area had the same issue - not what I would expect for a resort. Spending more than an hour and a half to get level, with changing sites and disconnecting your towed didn't make for a good first impression. The low rating is also due to the notification at check-in that "we have discontinued wireless" - We found that really frustrating considering we we're trying to monitor the we're trying to monitor the Texas storm to determine our route. We camped at American RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Ennis RV Village, Ennis, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very serviceable rv spots, in a lovely valley. Many lawns were brown and weedy, with weeds common in the rock/gravel areas. Site was level, and power and water were excellent. Wi-fi good in early morning, but waned during windy days and in evenings. Campground has a bit of an uncared for look to the sites, especially those with brown lawn and weeds. Could use some care and attention. We felt that other spots in Montana were better cared for. Price was very affordable. Would stay again, but not make this a destination. Not a lot for children to do at resort, no large green space, no river or pool, no playground apparatus. Mainly caters to adults who fish. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

Columbia Sun RV Resort, Kennewick, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

New, green, gigantic sites, super wide, in a rural setting. The friendliest managers we have met in a long while. Great gifts and supplies in the store, propane on site. Fast internet, we extended our stay twice, it was so lovely. A real resort destination. Highly recommended. For overnight era, great pull thoughts, just off of interstate 82. This resort has everything. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Camp Okanagan Forest Cottages & RV Park (Monthly Only), Peachland, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

All gravel, some areas more dust than gravel. Tight turns for big rigs. Very narrow sites, picnic table had to be moved off of site to back in and still had to back in over the water connection, which, was a black hose tied onto a 2 by 4. Appears unfinished, and the check in by the manager who was obviously drinking didn't add to the experience.. Could not recommend, even for an overnight with other choices in the area. A huge disappointment. We camped at Camp Okanagan Forest Cottages & RV Park (Monthly Only) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Wonderful staff, great park Warden, grass was lovingly cared for, had wind one day only, rest of the time was hot and sunny. Sites are immaculate and it was very quiet- no trains, no freeway noise. Booked three nights, stayed five, will definitely put it on our list of top 5 state parks We camped at Ginkgo Petrified Forest / Wanapum State Park in a Motorhome.

Wenatchee River County Park, Monitor, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Have been here previously in 2006 and 2007, this year, noticed the lack of adequate watering on the site we were given. Had booked three months prior for a waterfront site, only to find we were near the highway, in a different loop- they advised the management had changed, so I suppose that was the reason that someone else had our site. Wireless worked well during the week, didn't handle the load on the weekend. Park seems to have deteriorated a tad from previous years. mostly due to the underground sprinklers not working in a number of places throughout the campground. Still a pleasant spot, but not the 9 it was previously. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

Had a convenient pull-through site, clean and maintained adequately. Definitely not a destination, but great for the company store shopping right next door. Very friendly and helpful staff, some highway noise, but not problematic. We camped at Portland-Woodburn RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Definitely a clean, well maintained stay in Oregon. Great staff, wide sites and an overall resort feel. Lots of sun, and only a few shade areas, so be sure to face east to keep your windshield out of the hot summer sun. Stayed here twice last year and definitely will be back. We camped at Seven Feathers RV Park in a Motorhome.

Logan Road RV Park, Lincoln City, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2005 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Essentially a parking lot, little grass, very close to neighbour, especially if neighbour parks vehicle beside their unit. This really isn't a destination, did not stay, went down the road to outdoor resorts for some grass and less concrete. Staff friendly, no problem leaving early. We camped at Logan Road RV Park in a Motorhome.
